every section exists of 8 players (in the future tournaments i hope everyone can play against everyone in 1 big section :))

each match consists of 1 game
lost matches give 0 points
single wins give 1 point
gammon wins give 3 points
backgammon wins give 5 points

the winner of the tournament is the player who collected the most points when all matches are finished
