Temo: the Jews of Germany in 1929 were called “Fear Mongers”
The problem with the "fear monger" defense the liberals use is that it distorts the truth. While there is ZERO evidence that the Tea Party is racist (actually the evidence is to the contrary, they are very inclusive) the liberals put out the false charge off racism. Why? To create fear and garner votes. It's all about votes to the lying left. They will do anything to get votes. And lying to the people is at the top of their list.
Case in point: Obama. He's nothing but a liar. He campaigned on centrist values. But he governs hard left. He promised transparency. But he makes deals behind closed doors. He promised that passage of Obama Care would NOT cause a rise in health care premiums. On average they have gone up over a thousand dollars a year. He said he would not tax people to pay for Obama Care. But that's exactly what he is NOW saying he will do. There is nothing good about that man as president and the sooner he is neutered, the better for all of us. Where's Jimmy Carter when we need him?
Obama wants to bring down the rich (those that create jobs) simply because it can make him look good. He knows this will hurt the economy and will stop job creation in its tracks. But he doesn't care. Obama's plan is simple: Expand the power of the Federal government and micro manage all aspects of American life. Liberals are lemmings. They just follow him off the cliff because that's what lemmings do.
Like it or not, those who can spend more freely provide a wealth of jobs for everyone else. Punishing them ends up punishing blue-collar people. The classic example was the 1990 luxury tax imposed on jewelry, yachts, private planes and more. Congress repealed it after thousands of layoffs occurred in those industries and the added unemployment costs exceeded the luxury tax revenue.
Many believe that a bipartisan majority would approve the across-the-board approach today if Pelosi and Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid (D, NV) would permit a vote. It ought to come quickly, before the November elections, so voters will know where everyone stands. And our economy could get some much-needed good news.
But
we won't see this happen because the lying libs want to create a crisis and blame it on the Conservatives. Why? They want votes. That's their plan. They are going to lose big in November so they want to minimize losses. And they don't care that you will get hurt in the process.
Temo: In November, there will be Congressional Hearings

Reviewing the Department's handling of the Black Panther case and the news that the IG is looking into the work of the Civil Rights Division, Jennifer Rubin, writing in the Weekly Standard concludes:
[D]espite the Obama team's best efforts to stonewall and the mainstream media's indifference to an abuse of power in a Democratic administration, the notion that the New Black Panther party case is "no big deal" is crumbling. We know that a high ranking political appointee presented misleading testimony under oath and that multiple witnesses would testify to the Obama administration's hostility to the equal enforcement of our civil rights laws. Now an internal investigation is exploring those issues. In a Republican administration that would be front-page news.
Michael Moore: McDonald's at Ground Zero Killed More People Than 9/11 Hijackers from NewsBusters.org - Exposing Liberal Media Bias by Noel Sheppard
Schlockumentary film producer Michael Moore on Friday said the McDonald's that's two blocks from Ground Zero killed more people than the nineteen hijackers involved in the 9/11 attacks.
Don't you love it when folks that are so overweight they're probably considered obese point fingers at others for their poor eating habits?
Honestly, does this look like a man that should be making McDonald's jokes:
Temo: Re: The problem with the "fear monger" defense the liberals use is that it distorts the truth.
The trouble with the right neo's that they go crying "unfair" every time someone points out they are not telling the truth.
Until the right neo's and the Tea party supporters start being honest then their claims the left are lying all the time is about as valid as a nine bob note.
Temo: Re: Those on the left telling people how to eat
Artful Dodger: ......... Aye.. I can see it now. Rolling back years to' days of ketchup being a vegetable.
Quite honestly with the obesity level in the USA... a little education on eating well might be a jolly good idea. One point from history on what we eat recently was looking at how habits have reversed.
... The rich use to eat meat and junk, get fat and die, while the poor ate semi vegi and seasonable -- a diet now the rich eat and live more healthily.
Soon.. it'll be coca cola time with Santa in the company colours

(V): UK Obesity Statistics
Trends in Overweight and Obesity
About 46% of men in England and 32% of women are overweight (a body mass index of 25-30 kg/m2), and an additional 17% of men and 21% of women are obese (a body mass index of more than 30 kg/m2 ).
Overweight and obesity increase with age. About 28% of men and 27% of women aged 16-24 are overweight or obese but 76% of men and 68% of women aged 55-64 are overweight or obese.
Overweight and obesity are increasing. The percentage of adults who are obese has roughly doubled since the mid-1980's.
Temo: Re: Here is a far left nut that lectures Americans on bad eathing habits
Tuesday: Wanna bet? Tell you what. YOu come up with examples of those on the right telling people how to eat etc and show examples of the Right using the race card and I'll do the same for the Left. we'll compare

Artful Dodger: I have to agree. It seems that ever since Obama has entered the picture it's constantly the democrat/libs who are accusing anyone who doesn't agree with something the anointed one does, is racist. It's weak.
Temo: Re: Here is a far left nut that lectures Americans on bad eathing habits
Though, I would add, I'm not sure I've seen too much of that on this board. Which I think is an important thing to point out. I stand to be corrected, though.
Temo: Re: Here is a far left nut that lectures Americans on bad eathing habits
rod03801: I don't think it's been happening on this board but it clearly does "out there." I posted a while back that race would be used by the left to vilify and marginalize the opposition. I could easily post many examples of this very thing happening from the left.

Artful Dodger: it shows a bully getting in the face of old people very aggressively.I wouldn't have a prepared statement for that jerk either if he pulled that type of intimidation, clearly his ego is so big he thinks he can push people around as he rushes towards them.Notice the difference in the approach used by the interviewer at the tea bagging, he politely asks questions
Temo: Re: not that far behind in the UK either considering the size of our island
Snoopy: Yep.. it's called eating junk food, or food high in the likes of trans fats and other nasty food fillers used to bulk up products, or prolong their shelf life.
Much better if people just learnt how to cook good food.
