The post below of LJ's is instulting and off-topic. Let's hope the moderators do the right thing and remove it. It's not LJ's business if Fencer wants to allow for pawn memberships. It's no ones. Pawns are welcomed here and that's the way it's always been.
I disagree. I think the paid users here can expect to know what is done when someone not only opens an additional account but accepts a membership for that account. Like it or not, Long John played in a pawn tourney with his QWERTY account and won a membership. I think this IS a matter for all of us to know what is being done. It violates more than the user agreement. Or is there no teeth there?
LongJohn opened the QWERTY girl account and joined a pawn tournament and won. Then he accepted a knight membership for his second (bogus) account.
This is not speculation on my part. LJ told me this himself and proved it to me. I'm not the only one that knows about this. I thought that was against BK user agreement (not to mention the fraud of accepting a membership prize for a prohibited second account).
Asunto: Sorry if this has been asked and answered many times but:
Guideline #1
Each individual who plays on BrainKing is asked to use one, and only one, BrainKing account.
Reasoning:
We have a rating system on BrainKing which is used to estimate a player's strength in a particular game. Creating multiple accounts just to "lose" to one of your other accounts for the purpose of "boosting" a rating is not sporting, and will not be tolerated.
Does this mean that it's OK to have multiple accounts as long as you are not using them to play against each other? Fencer? I mean, what if someone creates another account not to cheat, but just to have another account? :)

<I don't know what you mean by abusing it but probably people should be aware to keep links out of message subject lines or the content will be hard to reach. At least it can't be reached directly.
I never notice before but if you have only one message, you'll get this in the left column:
Message box (1)
where you can click on the (1) to access the message.
But if the message subject header is a link, the left hand column lists it this way:
Message box Ad That?s me">(1)
The "AD that?s me" is a clickable link taking you to the actual message. So you can access that message from the left hand message area but from your message box it takes you to the outside (or inside as the case may be) link.
Asunto: I'm not sure if this is a problem or not but here it is anyway. :)
I sent myself a message with this: Ad That’s me in the subject line.
If I sent that to someone else as a subject line and then wrote them a message, they couldn't get to the message because clicking on the message header bring you to the linked site. :)
no this is not a trick to get people to view my cute little birdies. :)
I really don't think that is the way it's gonna work Andersp. You have no worries because people know you are both above that sort of thing. The earlier comment was playing to the lowest common denominator. ;)
