kintori: The player that sent the draw request would be the one at fault and not the one who accepted it.   Whether it was a joke (which would have been thoughtless for his/her team)  or a mistake (which can happen I guess even though it has to be confirmed) on the part fo the one sending it,  the decision to accept is not one that affects morality or honor.  The point is not to send a draw offer if it is not meant.  If it is a mistake in sending it,  it is the same as making a mistake in the game.

excuse me: this is not general, it is about addressing a grievance and this is the main discussion board i believed it would reach the correct venue to have the grievance dealt with but obviously i am wrong again as there has been only one person other than myself
once again, another game site that does not care about ethics, morals, or the sensibilities of other players, all you care about is that no one uses ****, ****, **** ,******* ,expletive, on and on really to bad

this is at the core
player(sender) opponent(receiver)
as the game had not been started ie no moves
moves have to be made before a draw can be asked even GM draws have a number of moves made before the draw is given.
the social contract as such is this
the opponent: one, did this on his own without consulting the team as a whole or the captain, this is a team match
two, there was no attempt to ask the player if this was a mistake.
the second level is this, the ranking difference of 100+ between player and opponent
at the least opponent was just plan RUDE, at the other end he reverse cheated
in that he sandbagged player knowing that the draw offer was not a real offer and accepted so he would not have to play a much stronger player and get a 1/2 win for free. the worst kind of cheater coward
oh he has not yet resoponed though it did take him very long to accepot the draw

kintori: please take this discussion to the general chat board, or to the board inside the fellowship.

this board is about brainking and its system, the problem you describe isnt with brainking but with the players. a draw offer can be made, a draw offer can be accepted, wether or not a player does one of those things is up to the players and not a decision for the brainking system.

any further posts on this board about this subject will be removed

Asunto: Rated games
Is there anywhere on BK where we can see how many rated games we have finished of a certain game type?
On my profile there's a table with all the victories, losses and draws of the games I've finished, but that's for counted games. That is, it includes games that were counted but not rated, and games that have finished before 2 moves were made.

So, is there anywhere I can see how many rated games I finished for a certain game type?

pauloaguia: You can look at your BKR graph.

For example, your graph for Amazon Chess: http://brainking.com/en/BKRGraph?u=9839&tp=58

25 completed games, but 21 counted games (BKR Rated) - listed above the graph

Team Tournament's games are counted in team ratings?

pauloaguia:  How good are you at cgi scripts?  I used to compile statistics on the tournament games at ItsYourTurn by downloading web pages and extracting the necessary information from them.  I wrote a couple of scripts in perl that automated most of the process.  In this case, I see the graph page has a URL of the form The">http://brainking.com/en/BKRGraph?u=2741&tp=23

The only thing you would have to change in the URL to download different graphs would be the "tp=nnn".  You could either make a data set of all the game types you play, or just download graphs for every type of game that is played.  If you wanted to you could then extract the line showing "Counted Games", and print out a report showing counted games w/t/l for each game type.

To extrapolate, what an interesting word! To conclude out of the behavior of a funktion inside a mathematical sphere on it's behavior outside of this sphere. Hmmm, so the breaks on my bike probably won't work to use them on my energyneutral powercar.
