Clay: Using a REAL good backgammon program can help a lot, especially not so experienced players. Like they will tell you what's the best move when you roll 64 as your opening roll...
Trice: I recommend you to focus on promoting BrainKing.com site then. In my opinion, the mere fact that Fencer is allowing the Gothic Chess being played here is more than enough of this game's promotion. I don't think there's a need of you advetising your "free site" (together with not so free program) in addition to that, "outweighing" the great promotion of BrainKing.com that is being done by you. Why would you want to execute the Fencer's part of your "informal agreement" (). You promote BrainKing.com, he promotes Gothic Chess. Don't swap positions, definitely not on the 10x8 board. Until I receive a confirmation from Fencer that there is an agreement between him and you that obliges him to let you advertise the GothicChessLive.com website at this site, you'll remain banned.
I would like to let everybody know that I am putting everyone who uses the cloak mode on my enemies list. If you don't want me to see what you're doing, you won't see me at all.
It works this way:
There are 2 situations that may occur:
1) You set your vacation days BEFORE your opponent made her/his move in a particular game. After your opponent makes her/his move, the remaining time will include the vacation days you set before. E.g . if it's a 1-day-per-move game and you set Tuesday and Wednesday as your vacation days (let's presume your opponent made her/his move on Monday at 10:00) plus your weekend days are Thursday and Friday, the time of your time-out will be set at Saturday 10:00.
2) The problem is when you set your vacation days when it's your turn, i.e. AFTER your opponent made her/his move. The system will not automatically calculate these vacation days into the remaining time so the game still shows Tuesday 10:00 as the time-out time. What happens on Tuesday at 10:00? The system first checks whether you have this date among your vacation days or weekend days. If not, it checks for the auto-vac. In all three cases, you get 24 hours added on.
If you set e.g. today as a vacation day, a game that should expire at 23:55 will get 24 hours added on. But you will time out in a game that should expire at 0:05 tomorrow (after the midnight). That's how it works.
Chuck: Yes, that's exactly the way it is. If I don't speak English and put only a Czech title in the Czech box and leave the English empty, everybody, no matter whether using English or Czech version of BK, will see what's written in the Czech box. And vice versa. If I fill in both boxes, users using English BK version will see what's in the English box and people using Czech version will see what's written in the Czech box.
Why would I discuss it with Fencer? There is nothing to discuss!!! If you don't like how often "certain players" play, don't play them any more. Quite easy, don't you think? Why the heck would I bother Fencer with MY problems? Or you think he's gonna go and tell the "certain players" "You have to move in the games with THE HIT MAN now"??? Ridiculous...

This El Putanthon aka Paulo Gomes aka Stevie2 aka Rascon aka Ricardo Oliveira aka whatever is already getting on my nerves. I'm sorry some of you think it was "very inappropriate" to post what I got from him on here, I don't feel it that way but that's because of our cultural and linguistic differences. I accept it and try not to do it again...hope you're not mad at me...
