wht doesn't someone run this site that has an interest in it and cares. this stupid white page crap is getting very old !!!!! It almost went a week before being fixed last time...and that wasn't so long ago if you all remember!!!!
not working for me either mostly white pages or page cannot be displayed has been like that since last night super slow, took me 30 minutes to just log in
I have not been able to get into this site for most of the day. I have just been able to get in and keep getting the white page. Is anyone else getting the same as me?
Roberto Silva: Thanks. That clears things up. The same thing should happen when there is only one possible move, in which case the move would be made automatically.
thechosen0ne: Some games (like backgammon), there are positions when a player can't make a move and needs to "pass". If autopass is turned off, you have to enter the game and make a "pass" move, then your opponent makes the next move. If autopass is turned on, the system passes automatically and your opponent makes the next move.
crosseyed: Yes, and especially today. I'm constantly trying to trick the gremlin who is tricking me. If reloading doesn't work I have a few bk pages on my favorites list, so I can leave and come back. This seems to work, but today I'm having to do it more than usual. Fencer said it has nothing to do with this site, but with the various server stations our signals travel through. I don't believe that, I say it's gremlins who are doing it.
Pedro Martínez: Yes, that looks worrying. Round 2 started quite recently, 20. September 2012. And the site clearly got the Sonneborn-Berger score wrong.
Heluvagi: Speaking of that tournament, I would like to know how it is possible that milionovej kluk made it to the second round, whereas cardinal and I didn't.
OMG! I was looking through the running tournaments, and I just found a backgammon tournament that's been running for 8 years. It has 7 point matches with the doubling cube. Just thought I'd share.
Aganju: I guess that answers my question! It just wasn't clear how it worked and I thought my vacation days were being used up on those days regardless. What time zone counts as those days? Your local time, the time you specified, or Brainking time?
thechosen0ne: I don't understand your question? You cannot time out during your weekend days, but of course your time does count down. Once it reaches 0 (or 0 to -9 exactly), the time demon gives you a free hour, which is like vacation, but doesn't use any. So what did you mean??
thechosen0ne: I think you'll find it was an added option because a lot of people were taking the total time before they moved. If you're timing out then it is working for the people who wish to play fast games.
What exactly is the point of weekend days if my time can still go down to <1 hour on games without a green or red dot, meaning I can still time out!? I set my weekend days to Monday and Wednesday.
chessmate.home: An account can't be deleted, as there are games attached to the account, of course. (and all games can be looked back at, etc.). The best thing to do is just make the new account and stop using this one.
ustica tnp: a) it has to be activated when the tournament is created (otherwise it will not be used) b) the player needs to activate it in his settings (check under Settings/GameFilter/Autopass which is brainking.com/en/settings?p=3&sup=2 )
