Asunto: One sure way to decrease vote for Republicans
Don't accommodate the men and women in the military. Make it impossible for them to vote. Just because they are risking their lives for us doesn't mean we owe them any extra effort to assure they get to vote in US elections. Right?

Disenfranchising those who serve us valiantly
Ed Lasky
In the wake of controversy regarding the Department of Justice complacency regarding violation of voting rights by New Black Panther Party members comes news that the DOJ is also freely granting waivers that allow states to ignore the votes of our citizens in the military:

From the Washington Times, commenting on the disaster of 2008 when many thousands of military votes were uncounted (and could very well have made a difference in the Minnesota race between Norm Coleman and Al Franken):
Much of this disaster could have been avoided by the Voting Section of the Justice Department, and without swift action, the Voting Section will cause a similar disaster in 2010 despite congressional efforts to fix the problem.

The primary hurdle, according to most experts, is time. Nearly every military-voting expert agrees that absentee ballots must be sent to overseas military voters at least 45 days before an election to give those voters sufficient time to receive and return their ballots. The Military Postal Service Agency goes one step further and recommends that absentee ballots be sent to war zones 60 days before an election.

Unfortunately, states have been slow to revamp their voting laws to accommodate a 45-day mailing standard. Before the 2008 election, at least 10 states and the District of Columbia provided military voters with just 35 days or fewer to receive and return their ballots. Overall, the Pew Center on the States found that "more than a third of states [did] not provide military voters stationed abroad with enough time to vote or [were] at high risk of not providing enough time."

Yet the primary entity responsible for protecting military voters, the Voting Section, decided not to pursue those states even though federal law (i.e., the Uniformed and Overseas Citizens Absentee Voting Act) gave the section wide latitude to protect military voters.

Thousands of military members were disenfranchised because their votes came in too late to be counted. Congress acted by requiring states to send ballots much earlier-at least 45 days before an election unless a state requested a waiver. That is the nub of the problem.

The Voting Section of the DOJ is in control of granting waivers. A few months ago, a senior official of the department informed an audience of state officials that the waiver provision was "ambiguous" and tipped his hand by indicating that the DOJ would be flexible regarding granting waivers.

In other words-wink, wink-states will not be sued for failure to send absentee ballots to our men and women in uniform. They can be disenfranchised again-with no penalties.

Military members tend to vote for Republicans.

Given the seeming willingness of the DOJ to turn itself into an apparatus of the Democratic Party when it comes to enforcing voter laws (it goes beyond just The New Black Panthers Party), is it too far-fetched to assume that once again the DOJ is using its power to help elect Democrats?

Breaking: Nevada To Press On With Criminal Prosecution of ACORN
by Matthew Vadum

Nevada’s Democratic attorney general, Catherine Cortez Masto, is moving forward with a criminal prosecution of ACORN even though the financially anemic group has dissolved its national structure and reportedly slashed its workforce from 250 to four employees. Trial has been scheduled for Nov. 29.

The charges relate to ACORN’s crime of choice: voter registration fraud.

Yeah, ACORN, the group that helped Obama get elected. Chicago politics on a National level.

It’s official. There is now a Tea Party Caucus in the Congress of the United States of America.

Representative Michelle Bachmann filed the paperwork late last week, and the approval was granted almost immediately:

Asunto: Far left Liberals at work - liars and cheats
According to records obtained by The Daily Caller, at several points during the 2008 presidential campaign a group of liberal journalists took radical steps to protect their favored candidate. Employees of news organizations including Time, Politico, the Huffington Post, the Baltimore Sun, the Guardian, Salon and the New Republic participated in outpourings of anger over how Obama had been treated in the media, and in some cases plotted to fix the damage.
In one instance, Spencer Ackerman of the Washington Independent urged his colleagues to deflect attention from Obama's relationship with Wright by changing the subject. Pick one of Obama's conservative critics, Ackerman wrote, "Fred Barnes, Karl Rove, who cares - and call them racists."

This is the left wing press at work. It's their normal way of doing business. And YOU on the left will probably ignore it like you do everything that makes your "side" look bad.

Asunto: Does Obama even understand what's in the Health Bill? Do you?
Example: Just last Friday, he told MSNBC's Chuck Todd that the law "not only makes sure everybody has access to coverage but is reducing costs."

Wrong on both counts. NOT EVERYONE will be covered and COSTS WILL NECESSARILY RISE!!!

Fact: According to the Congressional Budget Office, 10 years from now there will still be at least 21 million uninsured Americans.

You might argue that it's still an improvement over today but that's not the point. Obama says everyone will be covered and that's NOT TRUE.

Fact: Nearly half of the newly covered aren't getting access to true health insurance but are being added to the Medicaid program, with all of its attendant problems of access and quality.

Fact: The RAND Corporation reports that the new law may result in severe overcrowding and longer waits in emergency rooms.

Fact: The Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services warn that some of the mandated cuts in Medicare could result in the closing of up to 15 percent of US hospitals.

Doesn't sound like things will be better under Obama's plan, but far, far worse.

The current Obama regime has crossed the line and gone one step further than the previous regime of GW Bush by ordering a CIA assassin team to hunt U.S. citizen Anwar al-Awlaki for the sole purpose of killing him without any trial. This overt violation of the U.S. Constituion by Obama would have resulted in leftists calling for impeachment had GW Bush tried it, though now the left propaganda ministers like Olberman are quiet as churchmice, not daring to offend their beloved "hope for change" leader Obama.

Asunto: liberals seek to enslave the black community in order to maintain a devoted, monolithic, voting electorate.
An excellent essay:

NAACP: ‘Useful Idiots’ of Liberal Racism
by LTC Allen West (USA, Ret.)
Let me make one thing very clear, my Mother, Elizabeth Thomas West, was a lifetime membership holder with the NAACP. Therefore growing up in our home I clearly understood the mission and vision for this organization. It was a mission and vision that enabled me to have the pride in myself and the heritage of my parents, grandparents, and extended family. It was a mission and vision that, to me, fostered a desire to excel beyond the standard and have a commitment to excellence regardless of skin color.

However, something has happened to that mission and vision, something horrific and inconsistent with the principles and values I recalled emanating from the “ole school” black community. Somewhere along the way victimization mentality has taken root in the black community resulting in astronomical unemployment rates, high incarceration rates, appalling murder rates, breakdown of the black family, and embarrassing teen pregnancy rates.

And in the light of all these negative socioeconomic indicators the NAACP decides that the preeminent focus of their national convention would be on issuing a resolution castigating the Tea (Taxed Enough Already) Party movement as racist. Even Congresswoman Sheila Jackson-Lee of Texas was so compelled as to state that the Tea Party is filled with Klan members…..but we will get to the Congressional Black Caucus a bit later.

Instead of maintaining its mission and vision, the NAACP has now become the “useful idiots” (a term coined by Vladimir Lenin) for liberal racism. They have made themselves into a political hack job organization which now seeks to maintain the liberal progressive socialist control of the 21 century plantation. It is on this new economic plantation where the liberals seek to enslave the black community in order to maintain a devoted, monolithic, voting electorate.

I find it interesting that the NAACP was silent when Senator Harry Reid made his insidious comments about President Obama was favorable, likeable, because he is “light-skinned” and did not speak in “negro dialect”. I recall that the NAACP said nothing when Vice President Joe Biden referred to Barack Hussein Obama as “clean and articulate”. The NAACP said nothing when liberals attacked Clarence Thomas, Condoleeza Rice (birthing tubes cartoon), Michael Steele, and General Colin Powell.

In 2008, where was the NAACP to denounce the obvious case of voter intimidation by the New Black Panther Party? Why did the NAACP not demand President George W Bush, and now, Attorney General Eric Holder, and the Obama adminstration, to prosecute this case to the fullest extent? Does the NAACP now support the same tactic which targeted the black community seeking to restrict the most fundamental of American individual rights, the right to vote? And shall the NAACP distance itself and condemn Malik Shabazz and the New Black Panther Party?

It is this duplicitous hypocrisy which allows me to state that the NAACP is shamefully now a liberal racist enabler. The upcoming mid-term elections have the Democrat party in certain peril. Therefore they have turned to their tactic of first and last resort, race baiting.

The resolution issued by the NAACP against the Tea Party is just a strategy to focus this coming election not against liberal progressive policies, which are anathema to our Republic. No, the NAACP, in conjunction with their masters, the Democrat party, seek to make this into an election based upon an insane charge of racial hatred.

We even see charlatan blasts from the past such as Julian Bond stating that Martin Luther King Jr was a socialist, a feeble attempt to garner black community acceptance of the liberal progressive agenda. We are truly on the verge of a dangerous situation in America. And yes, this also includes the lawsuit being brought against the sovereign State of Arizona, an attempt to win Hispanic votes…..an extension of liberal racism to another minority group.

We can fully expect from now until 2 November 2010 to see the usual suspects come out to promote the dishonest tyranny of the liberals. You will find the Congressional Black Caucus, Jesse Jackson, and Al Sharpton out to ensure blacks remain wedded to the failing liberal social welfare policies, all the time shouting how the Democrats know what is best. I find it comical that Al Sharpton has already leapt forward to head up a new left-wing grassroots group to counter the Tea Party called “One Nation”.

Does One Nation believe in higher taxes and bigger government? Will this counter group promote individual rights and freedoms, liberty, and adherence to our US Constitution? I presume this group will seek to intimidate and put forth the ideals of collectivism combined with victimhood and expansion of the “nanny-state”.

I find the Tea Party, to which I have spoken to several times, stands for fundamental principles and values consistent with that which has made America an exceptional Constitutional Republic.

Therefore, under the “leadership” of Al Sharpton, this counter group One Nation obviously stands for principles which are antithetical to our Republic.

One Nation under God Indivisible with Liberty and Justice for All

In closing, I am sure you are asking why did the ole Colonel just cite the last sentence in the Pledge of Allegiance?

Liberal Racism does not believe in One Nation under God. They believe in a Nation of subjects organized into collective groups under which they shall rule, not govern, in a secular humanist based society.

Indivisible, Liberal Racism does not believe in “e pluribus unim”, they prefer a balkanized America where they can pit us against each other through their manipulated messages….such as Tea Party racism.

Liberal racism does not believe in Liberty and Justice for All, they believe in freedom defined by a ruling class elite while creating more victims who become dependent upon their dishonest benevolence. Justice in the world of Liberal Racism means social and economic justice rooted in a principle of leveling, which founding father Samuel Adams spoke against. Al Sharpton defined justice as everyone having the same in every home in America…..government engineering of results and outcomes.

The mid-term elections of 2 November 2010 comes down to “One Nation under God Indivisible with Liberty and Justice for All” or the concept of One Nation under the proprietor of victimization Al Sharpton, a simpleton crony of Liberal Racism. Which shall you choose?

I think it is remarkable that within a week of Tiger Woods crashing his Escalade, the press found every woman with whom Tiger has had an affair. In the last few years, with photos, text messages, recorded phone calls, etc. And, they not only knew the cause of the family fight, but they even knew it was a wedge from his golf bag that his wife used to break out the windows in the Escalade. Not only that, they knew which wedge!

And each and every day, they gave America more updates on his sex-rehab stay, his wife's plans for divorce, and the dates and tournaments he will play in.

Obama has been in office for over a year now, and this same press:

· Still cannot find any of his childhood friends or neighbors,

· Or locate any of Obama's college papers or grades,

· Or how he paid for a Harvard education,

· Or which country issued his visa to travel to Pakistan in the 1980's,

· Or Barry Soretoro or even Michelle Obama's Princeton thesis on racism.

· They just can't seem to find them.

· Yet the public still trusts that same press to give them the whole truth !

Truly remarkable!

Obama lied, babies died

Jeannie DeAngelis
It's hard to comprehend that intelligent people believe Obama speaks the truth. A simple question: If an individual encourages<span> coldly tossing<span> a barely breathing infant into a laundry room to die and uses the upholding of the original intent to kill the baby as an excuse, is it logical to assume such a person has a high regard for truth?<span>

Barack Obama supports<span> killing the unborn<span> and if by chance the infant should happen to "burden the original decision of the woman and the physician to induce labor and perform an abortion" by refusing to die, Barry disagrees with providing a helpless being medical care. Plain and simple, Obama is cold and heartless.<span>

If<span> lying were an art, Barack would be its master.  Liberal pro-choice advocate Barack Obama "successfully opposed including language in the [health care reform] bill to prevent federal subsidies for abortions." The President intended to quietly advance an "abortion-expanding agenda through administrative decisions."<span>

When it appeared a few sentimental pro-lifers jeopardized Obamacare, it didn't<span> take much<span> to sway the easily fleeced Bart Stupak and seven left-leaning lackeys. In order to pass health care reform the President lied to gullible pro-life Democrats, signed a phony executive order, and swore health care would not fund abortion.

Obama might as well have pulled a dirty tissue out of his pocket, called it an executive order and after getting the credulous to agree, crumpled it up and filed it in the "easily deceived" category.

After health care reform passed, taxpayer monies are now going directly to abortionists in Pennsylvania to make sure murder is amply funded.  Under the new national government-run health care program, "the Obama administration will<span> give Pennsylvania $160 million<span> to set up a new "high risk" insurance program." Named after pro-choice champions Pennsylvania Governor Ed<span> Rendell<span> and Health and Human Services Secretary<span> Kathleen Sebelius, the program is called the Rendell-Sebelius plan, which is Obama-speak for taxpayer-subsidized abortions.

The Rendell-Sebelius federally-funded insurance program is being presented as monies to cover "preventative care, physician services, diagnostic testing, hospitalization, mental health services, prescription medications and much more."  Get out a yellow highlighter and underline the words "much more."

Let's do the math. If all of the $160 million dollars go to fund first trimester abortions, which run about $350.00, it calculates to be 457,143 human beings successfully sluiced from society. If a meager $40 million dollars were spent to cover "any legal abortion...except sex selection," that would assure nationalized health care 114, 286 fewer sick people to worry about, which would ultimately benefit the Obamanomic bottom line.

Besides the lies, Barry has, under duress, legally bound pro-life Americans to tax-tithe to the First Church of Obama's most highly esteemed charity, government funded abortions.  If Barry gets his way, which he always does, regardless of religious affiliation or moral conviction Americans will fund feticide.

Obama claims when it comes to ending a pregnancy, "The decision generally is one that a woman should make." Yet, the President's dictatorial decrees deny choice to those who don't support abortion.  Obama is intolerant toward conscientious objection and denies religious exemption. Barry's policies force the resistant to hand the abortionist the suction and scalpel by financially aiding and abetting the<span> executioner. <span>

If America is in search of an apropos motto, here's one that fits:<span> Obama lied and babies died. The next time Barack finishes speaking and turns to walk from the podium, look closely, his<span> pants are on fire.

A preview of what Obamacare has in store for us
Ed Lasky
Massachusetts was the role model for ObamaCare and has provided us a glimpse of the future that awaits us. Not only has the state been forced to clamp down on payments to health care providers and tried to bully health insurance companies into bankruptcy (by trying to force them to lower their premiums) but now businesses are canceling health coverage for their workers and telling them to become wards of the state:
The relentlessly rising cost of health insurance is prompting some small Massachusetts companies to drop coverage for their workers and encourage them to sign up for state-subsidized care instead, a trend that, some analysts say, could eventually weigh heavily on the state's already-stressed budget.
Since April 1, the date many insurance contracts are renewed for small businesses, the owners of about 90 small companies terminated their insurance plans with Braintree-based broker Jeff Rich and indicated in a follow-up survey that they were relying on publicly-funded insurance for their employees.
Companies pay a relatively small fine for not offering health care insurance for employees - roughly $295 annually - so they find it worthwhile to drop the coverage, pay the penalty, and let Massachusetts taxpayers take over the healthcare premiums instead.
How will this dynamic work when Obamacare kicks in?
Come 2014, when the bulk of the federal health care law goes into effect, the penalties for small companies that do not provide health insurance coverage will be less onerous than those in Massachusetts. That could tempt more small companies to opt out nationally, sending more workers to the public rolls - if health care costs can't be restrained, some analysts said.
Now, the health care laws in Massachusetts are a bit different than those that will operate at the national level. For example, Massachusetts imposes penalties for employers with more than 11 full-time employees while the federal will penalize companies that employ more than 50 workers. But the incentive for companies to drop health care coverage for workers will be even greater.
The result?
The projected expenses for Obamacare have been woefully understated. Businesses across America will respond in the economically most rational way: have taxpayers pick up the tab..

Asunto: More race manipulation by the White House
Ed Lasky

America - at least Americans who keep up on current events (and not the "sanitized" and "censored" versions delivered up by the usual suspects) - know that Eric Holder's Department of Justice has adopted race-based policies as its guiding principle. But there are signs that it did not all start with Holder.
From the National Review
The village of Port Chester, N.Y., is governed by a six-member board of trustees. Elections for the board were conducted on an at-large system - every voter looking at the same list of candidates - until 2006, when the Justice Department sued Port Chester under the 1965 Voting Rights Act.
But not enough Hispanics were being elected by the citizenry of Port Chester, so the diversity police at the DOJ went into action. In their view , the wrong people were being elected - despite the fact that no citizen had been barred from voting nor had unjust qualifications imposed on them. But Port Chester is 50% Hispanic so the absence of Hispanic representation on the board of trustees angered lawyers at the DOJ. Defense and resistance was "futile".
Town officials pointed out, with supporting data, that some large portion of their Hispanic population was ineligible to vote, not being citizens, and that voter turnout among the rest was low. Resistance was of course futile. A new, more complex voting system was imposed, along with the notoriously leaky "early voting" rule, and a Hispanic trustee has now been elected.
Engineering the outcome of elections-as was done recently by Holder's DOJ in Kinston, North Carolina and is being done increasingly throughout the country under the iron fist of the DOJ did not start with Eric Holder. Clearly, there are some attorneys at the Department who have favored this type of control before the reins were turned over to Eric Holder.
He, and his boss, Barack Obama, have just stepped up the pace-exponentially.

White House: We lied when we denied the insurance mandate was a tax
Rick Moran
Faced with the probability that the Supreme Court would deep six Obamacare due to the unconstitutionality of the individual mandate for all Americans to buy insurance, the Obama administration has switched gears and is now saying that their critics were right; that the mandate is, in fact, a tax:

When Congress required most Americans to obtain health insurance or pay a penalty, Democrats denied that they were creating a new tax. But in court, the Obama administration and its allies now defend the requirement as an exercise of the government's "power to lay and collect taxes."

Tea Partiers Easily Put On The Defensive. Stop it!
Lloyd Marcus
It is truly unfortunate that some on our side are so easily put on the defensive. NAACP President Ben Jealous slandered millions of decent Tea Party patriots by saying we tolerate racists' signs. We do not. Not one liberal mainstream media outlet demand that Jealous produce the "Lynch Barack Obama" and "Lynch Eric Holder" signs he claimed to have seen. Thus, the liberal media are saying these violent racist signs exist and the tea partiers are guilty simply because Jealous says so.

Furthering their efforts to discredit the tea party movement by portraying them as racist, the liberal media attacked our Mark Williams for a satirical comment on his blog. Mark is a personal friend who is not a racist; far from it. On his blog, Mark was making a point about the blatant hypocrisy and backwardness of the NAACP.

Meanwhile, the liberal media typically ignores "real racism" coming from the left. A member of the New Black Panther Party boldly proclaimed he hates crackers (white people) and they need to "kill more crackers". Has the liberal media confronted the NAACP about denouncing the New Black Panthers' hate-filled racist statement? No, they have not.

And yet, folks on our side ran to the microphones to denounce Mark Williams and Tea Party Express, which is the most effective, ethical and powerful conservative voice of We The People. Dear Lord! People, wake up and smell the liberal media manipulation!

News Flash! The liberal mainstream media vehemently desire to "crush" the Tea Party Movement. They want us to fail! It is foolish to pander to our enemy. The liberal media will distort, lie and do whatever to divide and conquer us. Brothers and sisters, we can not fall for it. God bless.

The American government has suspended its funding of the University of East Anglia's climate research unit (CRU), citing the scientific doubts raised by last November's leak of hundreds of stolen emails.

The US Department of Energy (DoE) was one of the unit's main sources of funding for its work assembling a database of global temperatures.

It has supported the CRU financially since 1990 and gives the unit about £131,000 ($200,000 USD) a year on a rolling three-year contract.

This should have been renewed automatically in April, but the department has suspended all payments since May pending a scientific peer review of the unit's work.

Tuesday: You can't know how I watch it. That's impossible. Why make statements you can't possible know if they are true or not.

This particular topic is in the CURRENT news. And it has been for many months now. AND it has been initiated by the LEFT. So there.

Tuesday: I'm speaking more of the leadership of the Democratic party (historically) but today, the far left uses race all the time. They look for opportunities (or as I have shown, they manufacture them) to accuse the opposition of racism. That's why the topic is important. One, to understand the roots of racism in the political parties; to be honest about it; and to call it what it is when confronted with it today.

Williams letter was NOT racist. Poor judgment, insulting, offensive. But let's NOT cheapen the meaning of racism by assigning every little thing we object to as racist. That kind of behavior IS racist. When one uses race as a club (as the far left does) they are acting racist. When someone quotes LBJ for using the "N" word, they are NOT racist (as I have been called by you and a few others here). You yourself are guilty seizing an opportunity to play the race card. It's nonsense. Racism is a particular thing and not just anything you think it is. It's not racist to say Obama is articulate. Some on the left have made this claim. It's not racist to oppose Obama. MANY on the left make this claim.

The NAACP is playing the race card. They are a racist organization. Why? Imagine a white organization that seeks only to promote the white race. That's racism.

Jim Dandy: Williams was likely necessary collateral. Just as well. In this racially sensitive time, one has to be very careful what one says. I remember when someone said of Obama that he was articulate and the blacks got their undies in a tizzy crying "What? A black man can't be articulate?" It didn't matter that such things have been said of others.

Tuesday: The reason it's been pounded to pieces is because you on the left refuse to accept that your party was born out of racism. It promoted, supported, and profited from racism. And they are still using race today to further their ideology. Whatever it takes, the left will do.

It's also CURRENT in the news. Don't like the topic? Don't read it or respond.

Jim Dandy: I wouldn't go as far as to say there aren't racists in the whole bunch. But what there isn't is a pattern of racism in the group. There are no signs people carry that promote racist ideas. And where there are problems, they are weeded out. And keep in mind that the left was so eager to find racism in their ranks of the tea party, but couldn't, that they manufactured it. It's documented. On video. The left, posing as tea party participants and the LEFT making racial slurs. It didn't work. But it does go to show just how dishonest the left has become.

I'm not saying the Republican party is totally innocent. But we don't see this same consistent pattern of racism from the Right. We see the opposite. That's also a demonstrable historical fact.

Jim Dandy: I've read several blogs of black writers who are active in the tea party events and they have a different view. And since you've probably never been to a Tea Party rally and they have, I'll take them at their word. The facts are a hard thing to swallow sometimes. There is NO EVIDENCE of racism at tea party events. There have been documented situations where people on the left POSED as Tea Party racists. It didn't work. The Tea Partiers ran them out.
