Please say a prayer for jrhardhead, he is a member here and is very ill. He also could use some more games if anyone is interested in playing backgammon or Ludo! Know he would appreciate it!

Please can we all say a prayer for Sandy's (Prettymamma)father who is quite poorly at the moment. Take care sweetie and i certainly hope it gets better real soon.
Groucho: Its so very hard , i really do feel for you and your family and Chris's family. The fact he wasnt wearing a seatbelt, makes it harder to take in. I have bookmarked your brothers website, and will look at it tomorrow if thats ok. Going to bed now have a 6.15am start tomorrow.
bouncybouncy: Thanks. Check out Love Never Fails ministry. My brother's site in memory of his son Adam. Adam's mother is going to send a Love Basket to the family the just lost their son. It's a great ministry. Only those that have gone through it can really understand. I can't imagine the pain. Sadly we just learned yesterday that Chris wasn't wearing his seatbelt. The road he was on is 55mph and both vehicles were totaled. The funeral is tomorrow (Saturday) .
Thoughts and prayers for a a former student of mine who tragically died yesterday in a car accident. Great kid and super family. Being a small town they are known by many. The staff is devistated. He was 22. Name Chris. Thanks
I was at a twelve step meeting tonight for the first time in a long time. Laziness was not the reason for my prolonged absence! But irregardless of the reason I was at the meeting and it closed with the Lord's/Disciples' prayer! Whenever I hear that prayer, because I don't hear it often, I'm reminded of how unforgiving I am.....even tonight as an EX Christian! Being an EX Christian doesn't allow me the right to be unforgiving or to forgive when not an ounce of energy is needed. Furthermore, I was amazed at how much stress it took to be forever unforgiving. I feel as if a load has been taken off of my shoulders by dropping all of the grudges as a result of multiple hurts leading up to 2002 and beyond. "Forgive us our temptations....as we forgive those who trespass against us. Reminds me of the marraige vow "To have and to cherish in sickness and health....But what happens when the sickness comes?...as in what happens when it takes energy to forgive? I quit religion for health reasons. But now that I see how brainwashed I was and how cultlike the religious experience was like at the end I am leery of going back into it too intensely and becoming brainwashed again. I am not against religion. I just have a personal fear of it.

.....wife of Darren Clarke (PGA) who died peacefully in her sleep 2.19am after a courageous battle with breast cancer, aged, just 39. My thoughts and prayers go to Darren and their children , Tyrone and Connor.
Groucho: You are very welcome!! I have had no idea of you being in hospital... :-( Since its about a week later: how are you doing now and what is 'packing'?
God bless you real good and may He heal you completely!!! amen
As today is the day of my birth and you can't be with me, I want to send you both ALL my Love & ALL my Thanks, for if it were not for the union of two such wonderful people once upon a time, I would not be me.....I LOVE YOU BOTH for all eternity.....Thank You Always for making me, raising me, and loving me...I feel very blessed for having known you...
Radiant Aunt: It's been a week and the last few days have been rough. Hard to explain but there is currently little drainage due to the packing and so it's like having the flu. I see the doc tomorrow and as I understand it, they will remove the packing and that should help a lot with the pain. ;)
Groucho: Awwwwwwwww, keeop ya chin up darling, and try not to fret. Jess was at drama school for 5 years, and had numerous disctinctions with the London Academy of Music and Dramatic Art, that has all gone now, as the poor lamb speaks as though she has a peg on her nose, another 2 years of this :o(
Ok, I'm back to feeling miserable. And now trouble sleeping. What's up? The first few days I'm doing well and I feel yuckky all over. lol, now when I'm feeling a bi tmore energy, I'm totally stuffed and now can't sleep. hehehe Doc gave me a few pills to help with that though.
The mind is a strange thing. Two different days, same problems, one day it's not a bother and the next day I can't sleep and am all anxious.
On a bright note, my music teacher friend told me that I'd probably be a better singer as my facial cavities will be totatlly clear and my resonation will improve. heheheh I'll record a song and post it and you all can vote. ;)
WatfordFC: That must be rough. I've fought the chronic stuff for over a year and it is frustrating. But I didn't have it that bad. My anitibiotics did help with the symptoms. I feel for her!
WatfordFC: I've heard that a procedure like that is so helpful. I've been reading about sinus surgery and didn't know until yesterday that most kids can't have the surgery because they are still growing etc. That must be tough dealing with the constant infections. That was my problem as the draining stopped for me due to other factors. I have packing in my sinus's now so I can only breathe out the nose, but it will heal in about a week. Depending on the serverity of the problem, full recovery can take up to sixty days. Tell Jessica to hang in there!

Groucho: Jessica has had secondary nasal infections since she was 5. She has had her adenoids removed, and the small inner tube burnt, but still nothing. Because of her age (13) they cant operate now until she is 15, because her facial bones and nose are still forming. At 15 they will be breaking the cartliage (sp) in both nostrils and also the bridge of her nose, to widen it. What happens, when she has a common cold, the mucous does not release itself , thus it collects and gets infected.
Thank you very much. His small op that he had on Monday is clear. Those results will now go to his surgeon who will be operating on his aorta. We are just hoping that he gets a date pretty quick, we all want it over and done with now.
