BBW, you are very welcome! I've used the site before, but the extension is just awesome. There is no need to type username or password or even hit the button. right-click, select bugMeNot and you are in.
Translate - thanks to Fencer,
MapIt - maps any highlighted address to mapquest.com
BugMeNot - if you don't know what that is, check out bugmenot.com website. That's a database of login/passwords for many websites that require free registration.
Also, i found that you can add your favorite search engine to that list in the right top corner. Good for people who want to have other than enlgish search.
I still think it's a little slower than IE if you hit some very slow server on the other end of the world. IE loads picture faster. But extensions functionality is awesome.
Wow, FireFox has a lot of nice extensions. Anybody has any favorites? I like this one. A lot of options how tab browsing works. I especially like the little "X" button i can add on every tab.
I think personal firewalls are overrated. they give users fake feel of security. I've never used an antivirus or a personal firewall for more than a day. Every time i try one i feel it's waste of my time and computer resources.

how do you define "reasonable"? I think it's a fast connection. People have 3mb/sec and 5mb/sec, but if all you do is just browse the web and play brainking that's more then enough.
oh, yeah, and check the registry, i bet it's in "Run" somewhere, you are not the only one with this problem: http://computercops.biz/postlite66589-sdkcp.html
:) Backoff, do you really need that kind of speed? When i lived in NYC my provider upgraded me for free to 5Mb/sec, so pages loaded in 0.3 seconds instead of 0.5 seconds :)
<Sorry, i am answering an old post. I've just joined this board.
I got a great JVC Region Free DVD player with built in PAL->NTSC converter as a present from my brother. Works great. I was able to play Region 5 Pal DVD on american NTSC TVSet.
If you are still interested i can ask him where he bought it.
