General talk about movies, TV, radio, and other entertainment discussion.
Discussing favorite movies is a great topic but keep in mind some folks haven't seen the movie yet we may be discussing so don't give the endings away!

Dragonheart44: Tried to get ladder 49 on the weekend but it was out so hopefully tomorrow nite. I heard the new exorcist wasnt great but will still see it. Have you seen either?
Dragonheart44: I've been calling this the year of the horror flick. I dont recall so many scare pics out in one year before and they are still pumping em out.. Some make me jump but not many. Hard to find a really good, scare you half to death, type ones!
Rose: Yea,I saw Grudge,,it was ok..Yea,there are lots coming out..I cant remember the names tho,,I know one is "White Noise"..something like that,,along with some others..I LOVE horror movies!
Ladder 49..Is that the fire dept type movie? If so,,I really want to see it. I have a brother & an uncle that works for the fire dept...But when I saw the previews of this movie,,it looked awesome
MindyDaBrat: yes that is the one. It is a view of the life of the firefighters. Pretty good!
I cant wait to see Whitenoise too. I love Keaton movies so I'm sure it will be good.
New to theatres are
the Ring2,
Cursed,
the Jacket (Adrien Broddy an it looks good)
Constantine (not a true horror but pretty darn good! OK I'm biased cuz of Keanu!)
Coming soon to theatres:
Amityville Horror
House of Wax (cant wait)
and much much more!
gekrompen hoofd: Most of us are aware of your hatred for new movies in Holloywood. Let's not get catty in here again, try to keep this duscussion light please. thanks.
MindyDaBrat: I'm quite the movie nuttoo. I rather pop a movie in than watch the drivel thats on most tv channels these days.
Our dvd collection is rapidly growing.
What types do you like to watch other than horror Mindy?
Andre Faria: Ok that's your perspective but other folks feel differently. Some folks like to be entertained by Hollywood and I dont see anything wrong with them talking about it here.
Rose: I´m not saying it´s wrong. I respect their opinions. I was just giving my oppinion... But it´s a fact that Hollywood films are not that quality...

without a proper definition of quality first. some would say that lucas arts is the
downing of culture, some hope that those fancy computer tricks will be available
at home as well - I like french movies e.g. but others might prefer less sensitivity ... ~*~
my sister got Saw. saw looks like the kind of movie that's gonna keep me on the edge of my seat i also want to see dawn of the dead. have anybody seen bonesnatchers yet that's a good movie i own it and i own cheaper by the dozen queen of the damned is good i got i-robot too it was good i got surround sound and it sounds hella good on it i also like movies that blow up things and action
Summertop: Had you seen 'Get Shorty' first? I figured what they did in the sequal was get the big guns out, meaning all the star power, so the story line could b flat and wouldnt matter. I'll wait for it on vid
Rose: It's been sooo long since I've seen Get Shorty", that I don't remember hardly anything about it. One thing about "Be Cool", The Rock was quite funny as a Gay Bodyguard.
Summertop: THAT is the one thing that made me roar watching the previews! We rented Get Shorty a few weeks ago as we couldn't remember it much either. I figured it would help me relate to the new one.
Got one called 'Triggermen' for tonite plus Full Monty and Incredibles. I took Dradgonhearts advice and didnt pick up the new Exorcist.
