Royal__Flush: I know it was working yesterday but the only way I can see if its working for you would be to wait 15 mins and see if Beaupol times out as he has no more vacation time left.
Carpe Diem: There is a time since you last played that type of game for a pawn it is a month before you're removed and 3 months for paying members before they are removed from the rankings.
correct, but due tobug in game it doesn't force your opponent to have to move. Trying indicating to him that he is not playing entirely within the rules and he may move.
thechosen0ne: I think you'll find it was an added option because a lot of people were taking the total time before they moved. If you're timing out then it is working for the people who wish to play fast games.
stargood: When you set up a new game for the waiting list you have the option of how many of that particular game you want to put on the waiting list max of 9 nat a time for anyone game.
Bernice: I think if they have selected a day as vacation it comes off of the total when they set it, this then wouldn't alter there total. You could try setting a day in the future yourself and see what happens to your total and then cancel it. Just a thought
I have noticed that when I go to my profile and look at finished games it no longer shows the last ten games, even though the heading is there. Anybody know anything about this?
Just my sixpence worth, I was happy to hear about action points as I thought I'd get a lot more games played. Also stairs and tourneys might move faster. How wrong could I be LOL, the tourney I'm in is still waiting for first round games to finish so as to start the second round. At present rate it could start Sept. Stairs well my 1 game has moved a bit but I wouldn't say at a fast pace. If anything I'm making less moves since action points started, but who can tell what might happen, after a couple of weeks playing the same person to build up points, might be more soul destroying than competitive. Actually think my views come to a shilling instead of sixpence.
alanback: It could be 16 pts because you have played so many games, as I haven't played as many games say in nack as in backgammon the pts difference is in excess of 30
ellieoop I don't know if this will help but on finishing a move I go back to main page. This then shows games possibly going to time out also who is on line, then with the online opponents selection you can see who is active or just browsing main page
Q Should a time out effect ratings? Reason I ask is a game I was winning (my opinion only lol) was allowed to time out by my opposition. This wasn't credited as a win or loss. Is this always the case, cause it seems unfair in allowing anybody to time out as opossed the losing the game.
