This is absolutely disappointing. As someone who has managed backup and restore operations for a small company, I would be fired immediately if I lost 6 weeks worth of data. I understand you might not have the financial resources to fix what has broken and that is disappointing as well.
I don't want to get in a fight with anyone, so I will just go ahead and fire brainking.com.
