According to a new CNN poll, 68 percent of Americans nationwide oppose the mosque being built two blocks from ground zero, which is why President Obama will probably not choose to make this his latest "teachable moment." Even a majority of Democrats — the ones who are supposed to be the politically correct terrorist apologists — are opposed (54 percent against it to 43 percent for it). It's worth noting that another poll shows that, among those literally closest to the issue, the mosque has wider support: Manhattanites back the mosque 53 percent to 31 percent.

BTW, 56 of Democrats polled say it is WRONG for the Muslims to build a Mosque just 3 blocks from Ground Zero.

"Lets start by taking care of the babies that are already born. I've seen the results of children who are wards of the state at age 16-17 because they were never adopted or had a caregiver apart from the state. It isn't a pretty sight."

This is his argument to support abortion? never mind about the ones we kill, lets take care of the one that have been born.

ummm, how about both?

"I hope none of us who want to see women's rights to have an abortion abridged in these cases never have to experience rape or incest themselves."

There is no logic in this statement. This is a failed attempt to suggest that the act of rape or incest itself justifies the taking of a human life. And it sets up a false position. Abortion opponents are not against women's rights, they are against the taking of an innocent unborn life.

This poster is not making an argument, he's making nonsense.

In fact, there is not one proponent of abortion that can make a logical argument on their position without violating some law of logic. In the case of Ferris, his own arguments refutes itself. I love spotting those.

Taking the life of an innocent human being is morally wrong.
Abortion takes the life of an innocent human being.
Therefore, abortion is morally wrong.
I oppose abortion on those grounds. ALL abortion save one. When the life of the mother is truly in danger, and an abortion is deemed medically necessary (to save the mother's life) then preforming an abortion would be morally justifiable. Mind you, a human life is still lost. It's still a sad occasion. But it's the only circumstance where abortion would be morally justified.

Tuesday: You have a way of dodging all questions. I want to know if our view on abortion is consistent (mine is). If you are against abortion in all circumstances, then you MUST also be against abortion in situations of rape and incest.
