cariad:
woo hoo....I haad heard that but couldnt find anything to absolutely confirm it hehehehe...Oh well it is like spitting into the wind you will eventually get your own back....thats 5 times one person has been booted isnt it? surely a site record LOLOL
if you stated at the time that you created the tourney that there was a limit of 2000 bkr then you have the right to remove any players over the limit .
Im going to ask another question that will upset OldDear again but then who cares
If someone has surpassed the 2000max that I stipulate for a tourney may i remove that person or ask that they remove themselves. I know it isnt their fault that they have won the last 5 games they have played therefore greatly improving their score, but there was a reason for the 2000...can anyone advise me what would be the correct thing to do? I dont want to upset this person unduly :(
Woohooo!!! Thanks B. I made it in! I was too late earlier today! You are a doll for giving up your seat!
If I win how about you send me an Aussie T and I will send you a Canadian one!
I notice that the tourney is full so have removed myself....One more needed...I will keep my eye on it and if I dont get a 5th will rejoin:)....everybody happy now?
OldDear: At least we have the proof before you delete your post that you are finally admitting you are LJ...
Niki- Sticks an stones. If people like that need to put down everyone to try to make themselves feel that much better then let him call me what he wants.
Midnight-Madness super fast gammon...one day moves, please dont take holidays :) and if you win please be prepared to give me your name and address and I will send you and aussie T-shirt :)
NO i wont give out your particulars. the reason im doing it this way is because it is too hard to get money etc to Fencer :( So you will have to trust me LOLOL...I will not back down on this deal :) you will get a t-shirt
troydaniels: 10 is correct. (Even though you may start up to 14 games to take you over your limit), the computer only checks for 10 free spaces to start.
If it was only one game for each two players, you would only need 5 free spaces.
Tournament type (?): two games (switched colors) for each two players
Maximum number of players per section: 8
How many free slots do I need when the game starts? Would it be 14, since there's (probably) seven people other than me in the section, and I'd be playing two games with each of them? Is there someplace where this is explained?
Ratings can change between the time a player signs up for a tournament and the time that the tournament starts. Once a player has signed up, the system will let them play even if their rating ends up far out of the tournament's bounds.
RamblinMaam: Just checked spider line 4 and there is someone in there over 1800 as well, I am over 1700,(didnt realize this when I went to sign up) and it told me my rating was too high to get in. Not sure why others are allowed in with over 1800 rating, unless they signed up as unrated and now have a rating?
