gambler104: I've set up a hyper backgammon tournament, and it is 50 brains to enter. It's a 21-point match setup to help take some of the luck out, but it is only 1 day/per move with weekends so the tournament should go by pretty fast.

tarcellius: I believe the tournament will just boot you out since you already have a Pente tournament. If you really wanted to play, I guess you could resign your Pente tournament game, and since you would lose the section if you did, you could ask Fencer to allow you to play in the other.
The game ends if one player cannot make a legal move. When it happens, the player with more pieces on the board wins the game. If both players have the same number of pieces, the game is a draw
Walter Montego: Fencer's way is one possible way to do it. Your's is another. Another is 1-5 2-6 3-7 4-8, 1-3 2-4. It would be a combination of those 2.
juls31: All tournaments are listed under the tournaments link on the left side of the main page. You can set parameters and search for a certain type of tournament. When you find one, look at the number of games. If it is single elimination, you need 1. If it is one game for each 2 players, you need 5. If it is two games for each 2 players, you need 10.
CRY ME A RIVER: Well, I am going to wait a while and explore my other options with tournaments. I will send you a PM if I have a further interest. Thanks for your quick response and help.
Pedro Martínez: It can't be started because 5 players is the max limit so first place only receives 87.5 or 87 brains. But according to BK rules, first prize must be at least double the entry fee of 50 brains. Since 87.5 can't increase since no more players can join, it will never start because first prize will never reach 100 brains.
Hrqls: The seeding in these tournaments is like in chess instead of in other games. In a 16 player field 1 plays 9, 2 plays 10 and so on. After the first round I don't know how they pair so you would have to ask Fencer. But I would prefer 1-16, 2-15 over the system we use now.
