Blue Cheese Pasta
1lb.Spaghett
4 Tbs. Butter
1/2 Cup Blue Cheese (3ozs.) crumbled
3/4 Cup Chicken Broth
1 1/2 Cups sliced mushrooms
3/4 Cup scallions (minced)
2 Tbs. fresh lemon juice
1/2 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. pepper
1/4 Cup Parmeasan cheese
Cook pasta to desired donenesss ..drain and place in lg.bowl .
meanwhile in lg. skillet over medium heat place butter and blue cheese,and chicken broth . Stir and cook about 5 mins. or until mixture has thickened slightly (enough to coat back of spoon)
Add mushrooms , scallions , lemond juice ,salt , pepper and cook for 5 mins. longer . Pou mixture over the pasta and toss to blend thoroughly . Sprinkle with Parmesan Cheese and serve .
Different way to enjoy Pasta !!

Foxy Lady: Thanks Foxy Lady...i have looked too ...most recipes are a Pop-Over type . I'll have to ask some of my family , if they have my Mom's recipe .

1/2 Cup Oil
1 Cup Vinegar
1 Tablespoons Salt
1 1/2 Teaspoons Poultry Seasoning
1/2 Teaspoons Pepper
Place all ingredients in a sauce pan ..bring them to a boil..
Pour over Chicken pieces and marinate several hours ..BBQ on grill till done ! sorry i wrote this twice but the amount of salt was 1 Tablespoon ..Poultry Seasoning & pepper are Teaspoons :)

Place in a pan and bring to a rolling boil...pour over chicken pieces and let marinate several hours..BBQ on grill till done .It's very good !!!

1/4 Cup Flour
2 Eggs
3/4 Cup Sugar
1 tsb. Vanilla
1/2 Stick Butter
3 1/4 oz. can Coconut
Mix all ingredients together well . Pour into a pie dish . Bake @ 350 for 40 minutes .

5 Lbs. Potatoes
1 cup Green Peppers (cut up)
1 cup Celery (sliced)
1/2 cup Red Onion (cut up)
3/4 cup oil
3/4 cup water (with a boullion added)
3/4 cup Vinegar
2 Tbl. Sugar
1 Tbl. Dill Weed
salt & pepper to taste
Cook potatoes w/ skins on
Mix all the veggies and the juices
Place warm potatoes in juice and allow to cool. Then cut potatoes up after they cool .

Foxy Lady: My Husband loves it as well ...They serve this Salad at a Place called Rockwood Tavern . Everyone that goes there loves it ! I got the recipe from a friend who use to work there .

2 T Fresh cilantro chopped
1/2 Onion diced
4 or 5 sliced Hot Peppers
2 cloves Garlic chopped
1 16 oz. can Tomatoes
1 t. salt
1 t. sugar
1/2 t.Cumin
1 t. Orgeno
2 shakes Caynane Pepper
Mix all together and let stand a few hours till flavors blend well ...

I head of Broccoli (cut up )
1/2 Red Onion ( diced )
8 oz. Shredded Cheese ( cheese of your choice i like Sharp Cheddar )
1/2 lb. Bacon fried and crumbled
Mix together .
Dressing : (for salad)
1 cup Mayonise
2 T. vinegar
1/4 cup sugar
Blend together and add to the broccoli mixture .

1 pkg. Hot Sausage Links (cut in slices) do not brown...
4 lg. Sweet Onions (sliced)
1 cup water






Place in a large pan..Bring to a boil then cover and simmer 1 hour .
Add Chicken Boullion Cubes last 15 min.
Cook pasta drain and toss with the sauce sprinkle grated cheese over pasta . A different type of sauce to enjoy over Pasta .

""Mushroom Stew""
2 lbs. cubed pork or veal
1 Med. Onion ( sliced)
2 large Green Bell Peppers (diced)
3 stalks Celery ( diced)
2 Med. Potatoes (diced)
















2 sprigs fresh parsley or 2 tsp. dried
1 small Bay Leaf
1 Lg. can Tomatoes
1 Lg. can mushrooms ( drained)
3 Tbls. Oil










In large pan - heat oil . Add the meat and brown , add the celery , peppers , potatoes ,parsley ,basil 1/4 teaspoon ,and salt to taste . Stir and cook 2-3 minutes . Add tomatoes and 1/2 cup water ..let it come to a boil then reduce heat and add the bay leaf .Let simmer for 1 hour . Add drained mushrooms last 20 minutes of cooking , cook covered .
Make pasta of your choice and pour the stew over it . Really good ! Also you could have it on nice Italian Bread

1 can (14oz.) sweetened condensed milk
1/2 cup lemon juice..wisk together, set aside .
1 1/2 cups graham cracker crumbs (24) crackers
3/4 cups flour
1/3 cup packed brown sugar
pinch salt and 1/2 tsp. baking power
1/2 cup melted butter
In a bowl combine..cracker crumbs , flour , brown sugar ,baking powder , salt . Stir in melted butter till crumbly. Press half of cracker crumb in a greased 9" square pan . Pour lemon mixture over crumbs . Sprinkle remaining crumbs on top . Bake for 20-25 mins.in a 375 oven . Cool when done on a wire rack .
They are sooooo good ! Enjoy :)
