I have recently read a book by Uri Geller. Dead Cold.
I was told by a few people that his books weren't very good etc etc... but this one was great! I couldnt put it down. I'll be trying some more of his and I'd recommend this book to everyone!
Otsikko: Re: What's everyone reading at the moment?
I Ble'r Aeth Haul y Bore? - Eirug Wyn,
A historical novel about the suffering of the Navaho Indians under the oppressive behaviour of the white man during the American Civil War in the mid-nineteenth century.
Anne Robinson: she wanted to put the Welsh into Room 101 didn't she?! LOL After reading the HOME board I think there's someone else that just might nominate them as well!!
Phil Rickman: I wonder what book Merrily Watkins is reading? ROFLMBO!
LOL @ Fencer!!! Don't you ever have a break from computers and programming?!!
Yeah, thats right, Bumblepants, she did! I'd forgotten about that!! What does she have against the Welsh anyway? Apart from the fact that you're a nation of hooligans and terrors!! (j/k!) Maybe I'll find out in her book!!
I will. But there is always a work that must be done and nobody else can do it.
And to be on-topic, I'm also reading "What is the worst that could happen?" by Donald E. Westlake.
Oh you really should, Merrily! :oDDD Phil Rickman is a great author, he was recommended to me and I would recommend him to everyone I know. I will definitely be buying more of his books, they're 'unputdownable'!
ROFL!! Hardly, MysTery! Its just one of those words that you hear once and it sticks because its so appropriate, and such a crazy word! I read a lot of books that are unputdownable! LOL!
I didn't realise it was in the dictionary, but it's certainly a word I'm lucky enough to be able to say that I've used a lot to describe books that I've read.
It's quite a common 'word' - in the UK anyway.
