General talk about movies, TV, radio, and other entertainment discussion.
Discussing favorite movies is a great topic but keep in mind some folks haven't seen the movie yet we may be discussing so don't give the endings away!

MagicDragon: I forget what each episode was about, but what is good about Supernatural - other then the 1st episode which helped set up the brothers going after supernatural events, each episode is its own episode and you don't really need to see each of them to follow.
Plus be on thw watch - WB usually will rerun the same episode a couple times in a week before next Tuesdays episode - so if you miss one, it will probable be repeated within the week.
BIG BAD WOLF: WB does? Never noticed that before...I know that the channel has the Detroit Pistons on during basketball season here & always repeat it very early the next morning. Thanks for the info!
Actually they started a couple of weeks ago, but I think I missed the first 2. (But with plenty of repeats, they will be back on again)
The last 3 episodes (new episodes)
Episode 38: MythBusters Revisited
Adam and Jamie take their detractors head on as they revisit some of their favorite myths. They're going to answer them once and for all and forever silence their critics!
premiere: Oct. 12, 2005
Episode 39: Chinese Invasion Alarm
The MythBusters take a pot shot at an ancient Chinese text that alludes to a subterranean sonar system that could apparently detect and intercept an invasion from below. And watch Adam and Jamie test out a myth that millions of hungry Americans invoke every day — if it's been on the floor for less than five seconds, is it really safe to eat?
premiere: Oct. 19, 2005
Episode 40: Confederate Rocket
The American Civil War was fought with bayonets, muskets and cannons. But was that all? Not according to the MythBusters. So Adam, Jamie and the build team join forces to find out if the Confederate Army had a secret deadly weapon — the world's first long-range missile, which according to rumor, was launched from Richmond, Va., and aimed at the White House over 100 miles away.
premiere: Oct. 26, 2005
I always watched "In Search Of" w/ Leonard Nemoy as host & "Unsolved Mysteries" hosted by Robert Stack when they were on reg TV. Now there isn't as much on TV anymore that I like except for a possible 5 shows which is airing at the moment
MagicDragon: So what are the five shows? For me, my torrents would include (if I used torrent, which, of course, I don't):
Smallville
Supernatural
Surface
Charm ed
Lost
I can watch Cold Case Sat & Sunday nights & watch the repeat of Tuesday's Supernatural on Sunday & Thursday no doubt Survivor but tonight I'll be switching the channels! LOL
MagicDragon: That's why the internet made bittorrent or azureus or any other torrent product. You just download one of the shows the next day and watch it in Hi-Def on your computer.
whatdidyousay: I've yet to catch supernatural or surface but everyone is saying they are good. I may wait for em to go on DVD like I did with the 24 seried. Hadn't seen a single episode until this summer. Watched em all within 3 weeks.. whewww!
nobleheart: I watched the 1st episode but it didn't take w/ me. Now I'll buy the complete DVD series of Supernatural tho..that is a great show to watch
On Comedy Central, a new Drew Cary Green Screen show is suppose to be on tonight.
After ABC cancled Whos Line is it Anyway, Drew Cary started the green screen show on WB - but was quickly cancled - Comedy Central picked them up and new show on tonight.
= = = = = =
Saw II: This looks good. I realy liked the first movie, and this one looks good also.
Zathura: I would not mind seeing this either. Isn't it suppose to be from the same series of books as Jumanji or something like that.
Well I went to alot of movie places & haven't come across that movie as of yet...even looked in the Horror section. Was it a good money making film or just so-so? Maybe that is the reason I can't find it anywhere
I love the Drew Cary Green Screen. We tape all of them and watch them when we need a funny show. If you liked "Who's Line is it Anyway" (one of my favorites), you will like this one!
Mousetrap: Yes, I love it. I also like signed performances at the theatre, its like a whole different play going on at the side of the stage! (With the right interpreter)
harley:
I love it too! First time I ever understood the words without subtitles when they first did it at the deaf club.
And lots of songs are so easy to sign too too!
Mousetrap: Yes you're right they are easier than you'd imagine.
The first time I ever went to a deaf club I couldn't sign at all, and they had a disco on (thats why I went!)
There were groups of teenagers all signing away and I was fascinated, it was like they were sign dancing! Then years later when I learned sign I found out how great it was.
What always amazes me is the volume of noise in deaf clubs! I think I expected them to be quiet places, but was I wrong! Sing & sign nights are noisier, but its never really quiet.
Do you go regularly? I used to until I moved but they don't have a local one here that I know of.
Rose: Heading back to the mall tomorrow & I sure hope that they have the movie for sale somewhere in there if I can find the place where they sell movies! LOL
