Czuch Chuckers: I don't do it routinely either. Almost never check ALL the profiles (this prize pond that is running right now is an exception), just some that I have seen in the past missing a move..., i.e. dexter, skittles, ryan, etc.

Maxxina: said "stupid" not a fool... LOL! J/K! Plus, we all know now tha winning a pond isnt the goal so much as getting a high BKR, at least for many of us. I personally havent won even one pond since the ratings came out, and although have had a higher BKR before, It was a lot lower when I went for wins over playing it safe.

I don't think that is unfair, it is not outside the rules, however, for me, it takes the fun out of winning.

Vikings - however, for me, it takes the fun out of winning . yeaa and why , because you got a chance to do it . If we remove that chance . it will be fun again .

It will be over day after tomarrow, so there should be a good shake up in ratings.

Maxxina: I doubt it would be removed anytime soon, Think of it as extra rewarding when you do win

Maxxina: Just commit yourself to playing in dark ponds only, and you will have no worries anymore!

Czuch Chuckers: ratings are ether...they can hardly tell you the real skills of the players neither is the list of winners..the table that MikeUK showed us several time is the only relevant measure, I believe.

Vikings: Do you think the ratings are really going to change so much from the firstb run results?

Pedro Martínez: Remind us again, what he showed? I think the rating should be somewhat accurate after many games. I think it can skew someone who has not played many ponds but has done well in the ones they have played.

Vikes... I dont think that wins a nd win percentage tells the whole story either. But if that is the standard, then I will start going for wins again!

I seriously doubt the ratings, as they are at the moment, tell us much. I mean compare the ratings of e.g. Arctic Warrior and basplund.

Well I've made a copy of everyone who was in the first run BKR rating - so it will be interesting to compare them in 24 hours when the pond is at last - complete!

And congrats WhisperzQ - I held on for 6th place but started to play too carefully with about 20 to go which just left me too far behind....

I guess my username needed to be closer to the end of the alphabet to have a chance in that one.

all my bvoards are now in french and i cannot turn it off or turn it back to english. HELP!

everything is fixed now there was no flag up there. it was weird... and there was no drop down selection either. i loogeed on and everything was changed coudnt even find message boards to post in the proper place.

Pedro Martínez: I would suspect that Vikings probable went down in a different pond, then actually gained back on this pond to end up with a net -3.

(Since I actually took the "Old BKR" about 24 hours ago.)

Like Vikings - if you look at his BKR for the past 2 days, you will find out that he most likely gained 92 BKR from the first pond, not actually lose BKR.

it just seems such a waste of time over the last year or so really trying hard to stay as long as possible, especially when my first bet was over 1000.

3rd out of 249 players, BKR change +93. I was hoping for a little better, but that is not such a bad place to end up (2518) considering in this last week I finished last, 2nd to last twice, and 3rd to last. I thought I would end up around 2300

What happens if a player skips a turn (is not able to make a bet) and the points that he has left over isn't as much as he bet last round? Is there a default action for this?
