Please keep in mind BrainKing is still running on its original machine which is not as fast as I would like to have. Moreover, the site is changing very often and the traffic and load is increasing, so what was the optimal code a year ago doesn't have to be the most optimal code now. And since any change is very sensitive, cannot be done within a day.
I think the most important thing is that the site is up and running most of the time (and from my point of view, it's running almost continuously but I understand that network issues can make it different for international users).
Just don't panic, everything is under control.

Marfitalu: But if you hover the mouse cursor over the board link in the Favourive Boards section, the language would appear as a tooltip.

Marfitalu: Yes, of course it can be done. The only reason why I didn't do it so far is that people could be confused by the names which would be referring to non-existent domains. The Czech board is named BrainKing.cz but this domain actually exists and is registered [and owned] by me. What if someone else registeres BrainKing.fr or BrainKing.es and puts something completely different there?

Sujet: Re:
wellywales: My experiences are that many people who log in only once a day and they just experience a temporary downtime which takes 30 seconds, they call it "a big problem". That's not a big issue. Moreover, our monitoring system logs all downtimes and we know exactly what the performance is. Of course, we cannot be responsible for network problems outside our scope.

Only static and dead sites are never down. Live sites are occasionally down because of upgrades.

Princess Alison: No, you don't. Because the changes and downtimes that must have been done during this week were mostly related to the multilingual support. Which absolutely doesn't affect the English speakers.

2) There is a better board to ask such questions.

Walter Montego: What I want to say is that I spent too much time and effort to create the Stairs system and I don't want to change it when one person complains. A perfect system doesn't exist and there will be always someone who doesn't like it.
Btw, there is Stairs discussion board.
