heavenlyemma: Thats not true, Emma. If a complaint is made appropiately something will always be done. This is getting inappropriate though, its ok to ask about the best thing to do in certain circumstances, like Lamby did to start with, but details should be kept for PM's.
If someone is bothering you in games, ask them not to speak to you again and warn them you'll report them if they carry on. If they do, send the notes to a global mod and tell them you're not happy with this person. That really is the best way to go about it.

Now we are going to start with the same stuff that you did with me in the flame pit Stevie and Lamby on here I see. What I said was jokes. I posted a public apology in The Flame Pit for all to see. Neither one of you know me and therefore you don't seem to be able to tell when I am joking or not. I told you I was, and I apologized for making anyone upset. I didn't intend to.

so may be worth showing a Glob or Fencer what he is saying.. as the same player has said very sick stuff to others in game also

BIG BAD WOLF: Thats what I thought. Maybe it a feature request, but it seems to me it would be better to just not let the game times move for 24 hours instead of leting them go to zero and time out right after midnight in czech time. Just my 2 cents, as it wont effect me either way.

Sujet: Re:
Czuch Chuckers: I believe for site holidays, the time out function is just turned off. So games still count down, and I believe go into negative time - and then once the site is off of it's site holiday, any game with below 0 will be timed out.

If I understand correctly, even games marked as "no days off" will also not time out during this time.

25. Décembre 2005, 15:49:05
Czuch
I guess I never noticed before, but hwen there is a site holiday, for example, shouldnt the times of games just stop going down, or even have 24 hours added to them, instead of just going down, possibly into negative time where they will time out soon after the holiday has finished?

It seems that if I make a move and then leave the site with a 1 day game, and the next day is a site holiday, and my opponent comes on and mover after I am gone, then I should be able to come back the day after the holiday and not have my game timed out. As it is now, I leave and my game times down to zero during the holiday and then times out soon after the holiday is over?

Do I understand this correcty? I am probably just confused on the facts of this one...

Depends on the setting of the fischer game, I think. If its no days off, etc.... then auto-vacation won't work.

We're talking about someone who is consistent is using this method. This is not a normal person but someone with a pathology of some sort. How can you say it's not cheating?
