B4eye4get: The flaming boards have grown tame compared to how things used to be. And I'm semi-retired now. I'm glad Fencer doesn't get involved in the nonsense. You can't solve other's problems. People might acutally want to either grow up, or grow thicker skin. I don't want to grow up so I opted for thicker skin (and the block works very well too!)

... especially as certain ways of people hassling you (like game invites/wall/photos) can be blocked now!!

I agree about Walls. They are public and should be treated as such, and people who can't behave themselves there should be banned from posting on all Walls. I have personally said that DOZENS of times since they appeared here. However, the owner of the wall definitely DOES have the ability to delete and ban, but that's not good enough.

Dragon71: And that is when you use the "Blocked User" list to take care of THAT. There are solutions available to you. If you choose not to use them, then that is your own fault.

Also a good lesson NOT to give out your personal information to someone on a game site. Some people do it over and over and over again, and continue to whine when it bite's them in the rear end.

no not true cause if the bullies dont get you in the fellowships then they hound you all over in messages, in games an everywhere...i dont normally go to these stupid boards but when a click gets started with lies they sick all there dogs out even if your there or not...some ppl cares to much what jerks run them down so bad an give out addresses an phone numbers of a woman to strangers is know good at all...it could mean the difference tween life a death...so i take it you approve on ppl giving that information out ...your one of them in the click also an you friends i no most of them

Frankly, if you had been at IYT for long, then you would know that their PUBLIC boards were as bad as any PRIVATE fellowship board here could be.

Sujet: Just a suggestion....
Fencer,

I suggest that you create a "suggestion box". I don't know if such a thing occurs in the Czech Republic, but here in the US it is common amongst many employers and some businesses interested in what their customers want. The idea is that people drop notes in a physical box anonymously for their employer/manager to read and perhaps that suggestion will lead to a change in policy.

Perhaps you might create such a "suggestion box" here at BK. If the project you are working on is wanted by 3 paying customers, while 300 paying customers are begging for a different feature, then perhaps your time is better spent providing for those 300 paying customers instead of following your intuition as to what improvements your site could use.

By the way, this post was inspired by a suggestion of mine which I am only now posting to you. When I create a "new game" to be posted to the "waiting games" page, I would very much prefer to simply type in the rating (both minimum and maximum) range that I want to face, rather than have to choose between 100 BKR increments.

Thanks in advance for your consideration,
happyjuggler0

Sujet: Hello Jamie :)
Just to be sure I checked your game
Now people can see you're indeed in a much better position and the "BK-system" was debet on your lost game
Tournament:  pro všechny , Discussion
Game ID: 4233565
Score of finished games (I Am The Best - Varazslo, Backgammon Race): 0 : 1 (= 0) (show games | Show all games)
Time per move (?): 3 days, standard vacation

Public game (visible for other players)

Rated game (the result will be calculated for players' BKR)
Layout: Castle (change)
Board size: 1 (change)
<span>I Am The Best timed out.
<span>Varazslo is the winner.

Yes Jamie, you're totally right What a bloody mistake the creator of this tournament made, by 3 days a move and standard vacation.
Or is this what you meant with your question: How is this new plan going to stop people who don't move in games where they are losing?
Hmm you let me think now.... LOL

By the way, thanks for the message you send me

I Am The Best: That's impossible, and in my opinion not the problem When someone is losing a game and refuse to move is that his problem, not mine
I guess you didn't lose that game because your opponent didn't move? Probably he was better
So your nick doesn't tell the truth
What is your next goal, 3 games in the next 4 years?

I like the new system using hours instead of days for vacation.
Will the number of hours for vacation also be mentioned as days, so as to have an idea about the remaining time ?
