Rose: Having somewhat an education, I am fully aware of the definition....it was the spelling I found rather amusing. Although I could mention that any form of electronic training devices use methods not particularly favorable to the pet....what big difference is there between so called "professional" use and just an owner who has finally figured out that their pet has control of the enviroment he/she lives in?
Be the "pack leader" and you'll find theres no need for such contraptions.

My dog eats chicken bones all the time. she especially loves dead fish carcasses that she seems to find daily.

anastasia: I understand your bitterness, though I really dont care.
It is not, however, necessary to put words into my mouth.
I quote:"Dolittle: dont know that I said they dont.
pain,hunger,thirst,comfort.....all animals have these feelings"

Lamby: more animals are killed by automobiles than hunters, and automobiles dont by permits which in turn pays for conservation efforts.
because of conservation efforts and monies paid by hunters...successfull restocking programs have brought back many indigenus species to their once natural habitats.
its not all bad.

does anyone ever watch the "Dog Whisperer"? this guy has a firm grip on the reality of a pet/master relationshp.
I think back to a great uncle and aunt I had. they loved chihuhuas, and they named every one they had "Tiny". I say everyone, because they all died from coranaries. Tiny...always ate what they ate..never walked anywhere..was always held...in fact..I remember the first time I saw my uncle take one of his "tiny's" out to potty. he set him down on the ground...Tiny did his business...then my uncle wiped hs bottom with a tissue...then praised him for being such a "good dog"...and carried him back inside.
my point being...people can sometimes do more harm by overlooking the fact that thier pet is indeed an animal, and not human.
