actionpoints: im sure i can validate the lucky and unlucky dice theory with this game as well.

Then you would first have to come up with your personal definition of the word validate. ;)

Assuming both players are positioned such that they will always have 1/6 chance for an immediate win:
p=1/6 + (1-p)5/6 --> p = 6/11, about 54.5%.

Rose: It's slower for me too, but not so much that it is a problem. Fortunately the board is only loaded twice (or only once if you pass) per move in this game.

And the point with my "story" is that one player would prefer to play on, while the other would prefer a draw.

rednaz23: Yes, on a specific roll (in this case), you have 1/6 chance of an immediate win, but what matters is the overall winning chance which is not 50%. The player on roll is a small favourite (before seeing his roll). If he don't get the die he needs, then his opponent becomes the small favourite, and this will shift back and forth until one player wins. At no point will your winning chance be exactly 50 %.
