Here in the USA, gas prices rise even though demand is low.. the economy is still bad..and obama says..... huh what? it must be bush/cheney wanting their oil money
Snoopy: It was after Nick Griffin being pelted with an egg in the same area. I think the BNP wanted a fight. With the whistle being blown recently on them being a con I think they are a bit on edge.
(V): they were too scared to give the women the vote because of their superior intelligence. And look what happened, some of the most brilliant minds emerged
Snoopy: nahhhhh, it should be the rule that if the politicians mess up enough so people do not want to vote.. then the election is void. I mean.. in Parliament people are allowed to abstain, so why should us citizens be treated any different?
(V): Wikipedia states..."""In the UK voter registration is not compulsory, but registration is actively encouraged by central and local government. Voters must be on the electoral roll in order to vote in national, local or European elections"""
But even so, there should be a "fine" for not voting, even if you are/not registered
Can you please show me where there is a £1000 fine. I can't find anything on that.
Snoopy & Bernice: It's illegal not to registered here which dates back to WWI
... Yet the reason why has been forgotten and with possible election fraud from people taking them from 'bedsit' land blocks.. You couldn't enforce it without alot of resources. ... The level of vote is a good indicator of the snooze factor when politicians succeed to bore us to sleep, or feel they are all no good. You can't fine someone for having an opinion that politicians are crooks.
And the fine for not registering is £1000
Btw... BNP did ya here the news?? It seems expenses problems, infighting, lack of co-ordination.... a mess.
(V): well at least he isnt as silly or as stupid as the Duke of Edinborough(SP) now he is the biggest "foot in mouth" ever heard of ROFLMBO....the Queen must cringe sometimes LOL
Snoopy: The deputy PM was on the BBC. She was asked if she had spoken to the PM over the incident before coming on the show... She said "no.. I've been campaigning"
... the reply was..."you've got a mobile phone haven't you?"
Bernice: At this time in the election, they'd all do it. Gordon especially so as he has been criticised quite heavily over his slowness to apologise in public before hand.
Interestingly, he spent more time with the lady then he did with the Queen to dissolve Parliament or Pres Obama and other major figures.
As John Smith would say "don't you think he looks tired?"
Bernice: only cause he got caught out BIG TIME..LOL just shows me how all these walk abouts seemingly chatting to normal voters are so staged managed and this one went wrong badly
Jim Dandy: Must be my nutter ancestry.. Agnes Nutter that is. She was most annoyed when they burned her at the stake as a witch... Well, they were late!!
.. I think also they got annoyed they burnt her, seeing as she had 80 pounds of gunpowder and 40 pounds of roofing nails sown into her petticoats.
Snoopy: No justice, those 3 MPs ought to be denied seeing as I thought the whole idea of Legal aid was for low wage folk. if they want to fight their cases, pay it out of their savings, re-mortgage their houses.
