I guess what you mean is all the single players
As there was not 32 players entered when the Tournament had to start, there were Byes put in OR to put it another way, there was 17 players signed up, so to get it to 16 (so Elimination will work properly) one qualifying game has to be played

It took us ages to get Fencer to allow Byes, BUT if he had not that Tournament and loads of others would never start
