FrancescoLR: Time is going to be the biggest thing. If that is not set right it can go on for year,s.You as creator of the tournament can do anything up to the minute it start,So be online before it does,& stay in your tournament as it is about to start because there is all kind,s of unwanted players here.It will go into the red time .Being as big it could be.Most tournaments will start within 5 to 10 minute,s.Check with Fencer on that.I can hardy wait to see this one start.GOOD LUCK MY GOOD FRIEND:))))

and it dosnt really matter how short you make the time limit
if its a large tournament it will go on for at least a year anyway simply because the prize is a black rook

about the time 100% i will use fisher clock ( 3 days to start with 1 day of extra time and maximum of 6 days ) or not use any vacations ( could be either 5 or 6  days no vacation )
what you think all ???

"GERRY": At one time, the "one game for two players" - you would need 5 free slots (NO MATTER HOW MANY GAMES STARTED)

the "two games for two players" - you would need 10 free slots (NO MATTER HOW MANY GAMES STARTED)

So for the above - no matter if only 3 games will start with a 4 player tournament, or 18 games with a 20 player 2for2 tournament - those were how many slots were needed to start.

I'm not sure how many are needed for the single elimination tournaments are needed.

Gerry,

This is just me.  But if everyone on this board wrote all their announcements as large as you write yours, I wouldn't allow it.  It's unnecessary.  I'm glad you enjoy running tourneys and I like your enthusiasm.  But the large font is getting annoying.  So can you post your messages a bit more consistent with other posts on this board, please.

maybe there should be a different board for those

they couldnt careless about whose won what torunament that they havnt entered and its very tiresome having to scroll down half a mile everyday just to find the upcomming tournament posts

Sujet: Re:
Snoopy:actually again i disagree this is the board to tell pple who won the tourney .. if i well remember there is a link that all players have that says : tournaments (right after waiting games )
and there are all tournaments going on on the site .... no announcement there ... or i missing something ?
and more ...this is what the title says above of this board :
Please use this board to discuss Tournaments and Team Tournaments, ask
