bwild.. my daughter is a member here and in the fellowships too, she is 13, so is quite capable of reading the boards.... I don't believe i nag (although i know some will say i do! LOL) about things on the boards.. I don't beieve I am a do gooder either... although I do try to help people as a lot of us do.. including you :)
Obviously my daughter at 13 knows all the swear words.. she doesnt generally hear them at home.. and i dont really want her to see them here.

well fencer is the moderator here, so he will be reading it, and i am sure idf he feels it is an issue he will deal with it???

i think what we all want is safety for our children.. and any children... its just trying to find a way that is easy for us all... none of us like things to get heated.. and so far the help/info page seems the best idea :)

yes jason, a help/information page would be a good idea.. with the names of people who can help.. like we do with the money for the meberships.. also if they want with pages/ organisations they could visit for help if they didnt want to say anything to anyone here

again part of my argument here is how do you really know they are children.. any of us could of come on here and said we are kids, looking for other kids to play with!!!
And i agree about not having tags! it is like a beacon.. some of the 'perverts' will head straight for them! it is a difficult thing to try and monitor.. without knowing who is who etc...

i totally agree with what you are saying, yes it is a parents responiblity for a child.. but there are those parents who just dont care what their kids do.. and there are some who cannot use the net.. or maybe dont know that their child is on it.. maybe at the library or round a friends..

i was just going to say, i wouldn't be happy with my daughter haveing a 'free reign' on a part on her own... anyone can say they are a youngster. and do and say whatever... i am happy with the way i am doing things, and that is keeping an eye on who plays her.. i trust her to tell me if there is any 'funny talk'... and i hope that any other perents/ uncles/ aunts whatever that have kids on this site monitor there games too.. and have a trusting relationship to me that is the only sure way to keep them safe
