ClayNashvilleTn: FS numbers are not necessarily significant. Many people join simply because they are invited. Many do not participate at all. What's more important is how active the FS is in regards to tourneys and discussions. I believe Purple world does well in this area...probably others do as well. It takes an active Big Boss to make a FS successful. ;)
BIG BAD WOLF: NOTHING in the flame pit STAYS in the flame pit and the BB there needs to resign himself to that. Even the cave has its leaks. People like to "talk." ;)
The purpose of the Flame pit is not to resolve differences but to vent and flame others while keeping the flamming off the main boards. It also serves as a form of entertainment.
You're idea is good Clay but the name needs changing to reflect the purpose of your FS. Remember, the Flame Pit is not about resolving differences as anyone who has "visited" can readily see. It's really more like the Jerry Springer show. lol
Again, right on Rose. That too was an issue. And it wasn't just the lack of gratitude, but the public attacks she put up with from one of the board moderators here that finally took its toll.
I have kept in contact with Linda since she has left and have had many conversations with her. I can tell you that Rose is right on and Barf is out to lunch.
but that's not true. Both Bernice and I and a few others have had derogative things said about us on the GZ board. You know this for a fact because you've seen them as you're a member there. So is Fencer.
