Pedro Martínez: I see that lol, but that game is not using time limits, so it will go on & on.

The Team Tournament i posted about has a time per move set, though it does not seem to matter. For Rooks it is not a problem , but Bishops & Knights are effected. They can not enter another Tournament until that one is finished.

I know we can message Fencer and ask to be allowed to enter another Tournament, BUT if we can do that why have the restriction in the first place

diogenysos: No, my friend. I would love to see more varieties of time limits, but the point we are trying to make is as people seem to have a way making games go on on without timing out. As many of us have posted, we need to stop these loop holes before adding to them

diogenysos: I third that idea , but sadly until the current move times work for to EVERYONES advantage and not just a certain few what is the point ???

Nearly 4 months now since the last Team Logik Tournament started and still ONE player has not made a move even though they are here most days and all other games are over in the Tournament.

What is the point, do not need any more loop holes, its a joke !!

Thad: Me 2 i used to pay there before i found BrainKing. Like i say though, there are a lot of great Line4 & Spider4 players there, that have tried here, but they can not get used to the colour difference. Worse there are a few that have left here to play there, just because of the colour.

To me it does not make much difference, but to expert players i guess just look at a board and can see things. I would of though it would be quite easy, as you only need 1 piece of each colour as they are all the same shape & size lol

Thad: Not on the Froglet subject, though i do thing it is a good idea

If anyone out there is any good at making icons / pieces etc... PLEASE make a set of SpiderLine4 pieces (Dark purple and Green, the same as at IYT).

I know of many players who simply do not play here because they are so used to the IYT colours, they can not get there head round a different set, so they go back there to the colours they know.

Surely it must be so simple , just alter the RGB code to change the colours , still i do not really know, BUT i know we would get players back from IYT (which is always a good thing lol)

pauloaguia & coan.net: Just one thing i would like to add (which i know is not popular) is the ability to purchase extra vacation days. I used all mine up when i had computer problems.

Now i have none, i have to make sure i am here every day, just so nothing times out (sadly i still miss the odd one).

Last month i was away 3 days as i had to go away for a funeral. Luckily, i managed to use a relations laptop to keep an eye on my games. To me i would of been happy to purchase and extra couple of days to save the hassle, but i am not allowed.

Yet i can still come up against players who seem to have unlimited vacation days........its sickening really

How comes mine could not be deducted from next years days as they are already paid for

I know the argument is people would take advantage of any system where you are able to purchase extra days, BUT is that not what we have already. I guess it only applies to certain players

Something should be done about vacation days. I am in the last Logik Team Tournament (well quite a few of us are) that started on July 7th, that is getting on for 3 months.

I wonder if we could have a game like PackRat here

It would work great on a site like this with the amount of game players we have, and use our friends list

Plus i would not have to spend so much time on Facebook, boy that site is slow for me

What do you think Fencer, could it be looked into ?

This has been asked for many times since we had Polls introduced.
Please an option in a Poll to add an 'Other' selection, when if selected opens a small text box someone can type in a suggestion or comment in.

These could show up as comments at the bottom of the Poll.

Maybe even each Poll should have its own Discussion Board like Tournaments, for people to discuss relevant issues of the Poll

Fencer, could we have a red number beside the Matches link on our Main Fellowship page showing any challenges we have waiting to be excepted.

We have lots outstanding with various Fellowships, and without searching for each team Captain (or contact the Big Boss) there is no way of them knowing unless they go to the Matches page to look. It may help them get noticed more.

Either that or an easy way to send a reminder

Just a small thing to ask Fencer, as it is being used now already, thanks to a generous BrainKing member (Marshmud)
Could we have the appropriate code added, so when setting up Fellowship challenge matches we can designate it being a Prize challenge
We would just describe the Prize in the description box (e.g. 300 brains, divided between winning Team 6 players)

trohat: That would be there fault, it just like any other option, but something is needed.

think its just crazy the amount of Team Tournaments & Challenge matches that get started with players that are on holiday, or have simply left BrainKing. We asked for the grey background that shows up on the Fellowships membership & in the players relevant Teams, could also show up when we sign players up for a Team Tournament so we know that a least everyone we are signing up has been herein the last month.

We could just have a little warning that comes up on players Main Page saying Team play off or something similar.

It would certainly help a lot

I know this has been asked for in the past, so this is just another mention to hope it is considered.

Could players that are signed up for Teams have some sort of Toggle switch (on / off, available / not available) maybe beside there Team Rank in the Team box that they can change for themselves, and maybe also the Bosses can change.

I have been contacted twice this week by people that are (for various reasons) not going to be about for a while. They do not want to have to leave all the Teams, and then have to rejoin. This way would make it so mush easier for everyone

I am sure there used to be 2 numbers beside the Waiting games link (3rd down, top left).
One showed how many Single Player games were open and one Open Team games.

The Team one was taken away, but i can not remember why

Is it going to return back ?

If so, could it be hoverable (like the Main page one). In fact, is there any reason (when Fencer has time) that all red numbers could not be used that way, just to save clicking

After all it was hexkids first AutoPlayer that started it all, and then you wrote your own when he vanished, but i do not recall Fencer be Anti it, although he never wanted one on brainking at first.

After all that some of us do to promote brainking all over the place (Faceboook, AIGAMEZ, BugCafe etc..) i dont think Fencer would do that. Have you checked for any code changes that may be effecting it

4) Common sense i think Though will not really help when situations like the Logik Tournament at present are involved (started July 7th), that opponent has not even made ONE move in yet against anyone. Similar to what Thad mentioned a couple of day ago.

Could Big Bosses get a message about Team challenges as well as the Captains please.

I have just challenged a Team that does not have a Captain (crazy, but true) so unless the Boss looks at the Matches page, it will go un-noticed
Also, it would be handy to be able to send a reminder to a Fellowship that you have challenged. We have loadssssss just unanswered from ages ago

Just a thought about Frogs Legs. Those who play the game a lot will know that after a bit it comes to a stage of filling in squares that have no use, VERY time consuming

How about an option similar to Pass this move (in Go), as in if both players agree, all squares that will not disclose any Frog, get marked in, and the next proper move is taken by who's ever go it would of been if both players had made these moves

Would certainly speed up the game , of course BOTH players must agree before it can happen

rod03801& AlliumCepa : This also was brought up before and hexkid (miss that guy) used to have it in his grease monkey script. Sadly the script does not work since BrainKing has changed and hexkid is not about to mend it

You could flag particular games, and once opponent had played, the game would also show up in a separate section of the drop box at the top, as well as in its normal place, so you could go straight to it if you wanted to without having to search for it

rod03801: I used to use that a lot, was my favourite, but have not for ages now as it does not work as i envisage it should

Since the 'Cloak Mode' was introduced, it still picked up those players, which to me seemed pointless, i wanted to play games with people NOT here so i could get the game count down. I mentioned it often but was told there was nothing wrong so i gave up with it and not used it since.

It may well work now, but who knows

I know when Polls were release someone asked for an Other option.
In other words the person who sets the Poll could tick a box and an extra choice box would be added with choices, which when a person ticks, another box would open so they could add there suggestion.

As we cannot have byes(but all still want them) in Elimination Tournaments, would it be possible that Brainking could keep track of people in the order they registered for a Tournament

Then a lot more Elimination Tournaments could actually start, rather than letting players down.

e.g. 8 player one, only 5 enter, the first 4 to sign would play once deadline reached OR 32 player and only 23 enter, first 16 play, and so on for all Elimination Tournaments.

Would save so many being deleted at least AND players may sign up faster

Just trying to find a way round a crazy problem, so easy to have byes and keep EVERYONE happy

Couple of very small things as it is the weekend and Fencers rest time
When Tournaments are running we have a use of there own Discussion Board, which are very under used.
1. Could these be avaliable right from when the Tournament is created please
Be handy for people to ask for games to be added, ask for help or just talk about games they need help in.
2. I like to create Practice Tournaments (that are UNRATED) for Madhouse players to get help in those games they need it. As said, these are UNRATED so no BKR's are NOT effected for either those learning or teaching. Could there be a way these games could stand out in our games when we are playing them, maybe a  bright GREEN message at top left of game screen beside the game type just saying Unrated or Practice

An extension for Game Editors.

I play many games like Mancala (against great player ljubisa popovic) trying to find possible ways from certain positions. Comes in very handy to learn. The thing is most game between good players, nearly always start out the same first 6 to 8 moves, like in other games such as Cheversi & Chess. It is always good to go over a game to see mistakes made.

So Monkey thought...........

How about a new option, to set a game from any position, against a player of your choice and play from that point. (obviously a Not counted game so nothing is effected).

I think this would be great for going back over games played, or trying new end games in Chess & Cheversi etc....

A must addition for BrainKing

*Now Monkey be quiet for the weekend lol*

Anyway, all fun aside, Dice Chess is a great game. i think people enjoy it for a number of reasons. Of course the game is controlled by the dice, so there is al ot of luck involved, but there is also some skill. You can try to play it as like normal chess by either attack or defending. I guess it makes those of us who are not great chess players think we are great players lol. I love the game and would welcome and variant

Thought i would add this to the list of games wanted

Bug Cafe have just released Cribbage
I never thought it was that popular round the world, but since i sent a message out asking if anyone would like a game, i have been swamped with requests from BrainKing players.

So i think would be a great Card game for BrainKing to have

Now off to catch up on these games

Sujet: Me again :)
Like many of us, i belong to a lot of Fellowships(too many lol), Teams (ok i am only in Madhouse ones), Stairs(site & fellowships ones) etc.... and its not that easy to keep track of all that i am in. By going to different pages we can find out if there is a Tournaments somewhere to sign up for, or maybe a Stair that i can start a game in.
With so many, this can take ages, so i thought, lets see if BrainKing could do it.

So how about in Settings could we have another Notify by email(or site message) that does the following:

1) Check for Tournaments, Ponds and Stairs in Fellowships i belong to, that i can sign up for
2) Check for site Stairs, that i can sign up for
3) Teams i am Captain of, open to enter Tournaments
In fact anything people can think of could be added..........

With tick boxes

Then either once a day or week(whenever we set it) BrainKing would scan all Fellowships, Stairs etc... and compile it in an email (or even a site message) with the relevant details or Links to the places to go.
It would certainly save time and also help boost participation in things
