mctrivia: Should be more like 100 though, problem is that the population of the site is small and many people are not that established, so 25 games here doesn't show as much as 25 games at a chess club against well established players.

mctrivia: if the original number (0-1) was random then it wouldn't have that effect, unless 0 and 1 are not possible or something like that.
Would the result be less random than a real dice I wonder?

Could we have the match score for a points/wins match above the game, the same way we do in a cube match?

Thanks.

ScarletRose: Yes, wouldn't it be nice if there was a religion that practiced tolerance, or better yet respect, for other points of view. Sadly such a religion doesn't exist.

Therefore we should certainly have a religion board! What fun to see the arguments/fights/slurs etc by all the silly zealots. My vote is Aye!

What's more it was 15 before and after timing out yesterday. If it's still 15 in 4 hours when he times out again then that would surely prove it?

Ok, I'm totally confused by the autovacation feature. I'm playing someone who continues to time out against me every single day in a couple of games, yet his vacation days don't come down at all and haven't for weeks. Can someone explain how this is possible.

<feature request> Can we get rid of this useless feature please? Particularly since it seems to not be working. </feature request>

I'd like a "stealth" mode, where I can see other people's bank account numbers but they can't tell until the money starts coming out.
Or maybe I could see exactly where people are physically so I can stalk them.

hmmm. After some searching it seems that as long as gambling is not your actual business it may be ok to gamble on line against other players who are also not profiting from the business.

Not really tested in court though, but that seems to be the best guess of several web sites i looked at.

Sujet: Re: Brainbank - money for matches....
mctrivia: Maybe it's ok if you can't cash out and the money is used to pay for membership, and if the amounts are kept small it probably wouldn't be targetted.

The site itself would fall under Czeck law, so Fencer would be ok. It would be technically illegal for U.S residents to use it from inside the U.S however.

WhiteTower: In the end it's just a system of accepting mouse clicks on certain images. The hard part is not the image map itself, but the fact that every possible board layout would need to be implemented, instead of every combination for a particular square. For this reason I think we need a board that can be drawn by joining parts.

Perhaps turning the board slightly to align the hexigons, and then making the "active" part of each square in the middle? Or something like that.

I agree, good luck at the start of the match is enough. It is one match, no need to keep saying good luck each time.

I'm not really bothered by it, but if I don't return the "gl" mid match you'll know why.

I don't get it, there is no information on the site to worry about, and as mctrivia correctly says, there is clearly no attempt to encrypt anything anyway. Haven't we had this discussion?
