diogenes: I like that idea :) Another system that could be used is a "League" system. Much like the NBA and MLB in the USA, with regular season and post season (playoffs, knockout) play. The top players of the regular season would qualify for the post season. This system would be using mandatory games that would start automatically according to the schedule. There could be 1 league for every main game or even every game.
Sujet: Re: Rating should consider the number of points in the match
BIG BAD WOLF: We should just be glad for what we have :) Everything else Fencer adds is just a bonus! But I will say this, if 7x7 checkers is added, I will 100% guarantee to re-new my 1 year rook membership for as long as I possibly can
Fencer: I think you should HIGHLY consider a new checkers variant. It is played on a 7x7 board with 7 pieces on each side. 3 pieces would be played on the backrow and 4 pieces on the 2nd row of both sides. The rules are the same as American Checkers. This game is very difficult and more perfect moves are needed to win. It could be called Bajan Checkers :) I would love this game to be added here and I'm sure others would love it too.
I found it shocking that Brainking has all these unknown variants of Checkers(Corner Checkers, Gothic Checkers) without first putting in the Checker variants of the World like, Italian Checkers, 10x10 International, Spanish Checkers, Pool Checkers, 12x12 Canadian, Russian, Brazilian....
I think the checker players at Brainking would love for those variants to be added...ESPECIALLY Italian Checkers for I've noticed a lot of Italians that play here. Players from all over the world play here and I'm sure they would love to play these variants.
