Thanks for the new game filter. Could you put in filtering on time limits and match type/length as well? One main setting with the possibility to override it for each game type would be cool.
joshi tm: My experience in playing for real is that we rarely continue to play when the outcome is decided. The few times we continue to play is usually when it's faster to just make another roll or two than to check if the outcome actually is decided.
Sujet: Number of active games on main profile page
On the players' main profile page, could you write their number of active games somewhere? For instance: Personal data | Finished games | Started games(number here) | Tournaments | Fellowships | Stairs
As a warning of huge game lists. (Yes, I have a slow computer..)
Mr. Shumway: No, I don't think your link would make sense in my weird/bad sentence either.
What I wanted to say was that displaying the desired rating range in your list of waiting games, instead of saying that "any player" can join, would avoid misunderstandings such as this one.
If this doesn't make sense either, I'll blame it on poor english and good wine.
onigoroshi: I think it would be nice to have that information somewhere, and the waiting games list on the main page seems like a good place for that. Sometimes I delete a game and set up a new one, because I'm unsure if I remembered to set the correct range the first time (especially if it takes a while without anyone accepting the game).
CryingLoser: The first two could be nice options, but I disagree with the third one. Options for individuals to avoid slow players are ok, but I don't like the idea of throwing them out for being slow. After all, they are either playing within the time limits, or punished by timing out.
