Cyna: If you go to "Game rules" and select Backgammon, there is an explanation of the cube on that page. There is also a Backgammon discussion board, where I'm sure you could get lots of questions answered.
grenv: I have posed this question before, but don't remember seeing any feedback from Fencer. We have options to change boardsize in many of the other games, such as Backgammon, Reversi, Amazons, etc. So, it seems a logical extension to include board size options for other games like Ludo & Jarmo.
I think someone else already posted about this, but I didn't see a reply, so I would still like to know if Fencer is planning to create smaller board size for Ludo, like he has for Amazon, Pente, and others?
EdTrice: I don't care about seeing everything they are doing. I just think it would be nice to know if they are actively playing against me, that's all.
Can someone explain to me the great attraction of cloak mode? Are there really that many people who are concerned about other people knowing what page they are viewing?
It is certainly your right to hide your movements if you wish, since Fencer has made this available, but I would like to see one thing about it changed. I find it particularly annoying when I am go to "Online opponents" and cannot tell if my opponents are actively playing me or not. Should I hang around while they make a move, or is it time to log off? I don't know!
So the change I would like to see is let them remain cloaked for everything they do, except if they are viewing of moving in a game against me, then show that to me. Would that be a difficult change? Probably not.
MidnightMcMedic: How about returning to my issue? I got a comment from Bry, nobody else (including Fencer) commented on my proposal to add automatic refresh to the Online Opponents page. Are there other users out there who would find it helpful to have automatic refresh on other pages besides the games pages and the main page? Since I don't know how your code is organized, Fencer, I don't know what would be involved. Would this be a difficult change, or do you just have to add a page code to table somewhere?
Bry: Well, certainly I know how to use the refresh button. But I could argue that the refresh function is not required on the main page either, because the browser refresh button could be used there. But it has been supplied for convenience, so that the user doesn't have to manually do the repetitive task of pushing the button. I merely suggest that the Online Opponents page is another place where this automatic refresh would make sense, since it seems to be a popular page among users.
Currently, the screen automatically refreshes when on the main page or when viewing an active game. I would like to see the automatic refresh added to the "Online opponents" page.
