YUP! NOTHING MORE PRECIOUS THAN ONE'S SIGHT!! GET THEE TO THE EYE DOCTOR PRONTO, MY FRIEND! BETTER TO ADDRESS ANY VISION ISSUES YOU MAY HAVE SOONER, RATHER THAN LATER. PERHAPS JUST A CHANGE OF EYEGLASSES IS ALL YOU WILL NEED.
BUT JUST IN CASE, IT'S BETTER TO
BE ON TOP OF IT, TRUST ME!!! YOU SHOULD NEVER LET YOUR EYES (OR YOUR TEETH) GO.... IT ONLY LEADS TO BIGGER PROBLEMS IN THE LONG RUN IF YOU PUT THINGS OFF WHEN YOU KNOW YOU SHOULD SEE THE EYE
DOCTOR (OR DENTIST) RIGHT AWAY.
GOOD LUCK!!

CHECK OUT THIS GAL: EVA CASSIDY!

http://www.google.com/search?hl=en&ie=ISO-8859-1&q=EVA+CASSIDY

THIS EXTREMELY TALENTED LADY HAD HER LIFE TAKEN FROM HER FAR TOO SOON BY THE BIG KILLER: CANCER!
DESPITE HER EARLY DEATH SHE HAD
MANAGED TO RECORD A NUMBER OF ALBUMS, SOME OF WHICH WERE SAVED
ON MASTER TAPES AND RELEASED ON
CD POST-HUMOUSLY. I HAVE EVERY ALBUM OF HERS THAT I COULD FIND.
I RECOMMEND YOU START AT THE VERY BEGINNING WITH HER FIRST ALBUM THOUGH: "SONGBIRD". HER VERSION OF "OVER THE RAINBOW" WILL BRING
TEARS TO YOUR EYES AND SEND A SPINE-TINGLING CHILL UP YOUR SPINE! I GUARANTEE IT!! THAT FIRST ALBUM IS A GLIMPSE INTO THE
FAR-REACHING TALENT SHE EXHIBITS IN SEVERAL MUSICAL GENRES. SHE DID DO A LOT OF BLUES, BUT ALSO COVERS MANY OTHER STYLES OF MUSIC AND SHE DOES IT EQUALLY AS WELL TOO!! IF YOU'VE NEVER HEARD THIS YOUNG LADY SING BEFORE THEN YOU ARE IN FOR A VERY SPECIAL TREAT!!
CHECK HER OUT! YOU WON'T BE AT ALL DISAPPOINTED, I PROMISE YOU!!

USED TO SAY... "HE LAUGHED ALL THE WAY TO THE BANK" THAT MAMA'S BOY DID!! LOL! HE WAS A PIANIST
PAR EXCELLENCE! AND THE COSTUMES
HE WORE, WHICH WEIGHED HUNDREDS OF POUNDS FROM ALL THE JEWELS AND RHINESTONES THAT WERE EACH HAND-
SEWN ON THE CAPES, WERE ALSO THE INSPIRATION BEHIND THE JUMPSUITS
THAT ELVIS WORE IN HIS LAS VEGAS
YEARS! IF "THE KING" DIDN'T THINK THEY WERE "SISSY" COSTUMES, THEN
NEITHER SHOULD WE! TAKES A REAL MAN TO BE ABLE TO HAUL 300 - 400
POUNDS OF RHINESTONES LIKE THAT!!
SO HATS OFF TO LIBERACE! HE WAS A
TALENTED MAN AND WAS ADMIRED BY MANY PEOPLE WHO APPRECIATED NOT ONLY HIS MUSIC, BUT ALSO HIS TRUE
DEVOTION TO HIS MOTHER WHILE SHE WAS ALIVE. MY OWN MOTHER THOUGHT THE WORLD OF HIM AND HIS MUSIC, AND I DO TOO!!

I was never fond of Freddie cutting his hair and growing the moustache or the direction they took from that point on.I was very lucky to obtain a bootleg dvd of them performing at the Hammersmith during the recording of the breakthrough NIGHT AT THE OPERA album, they perform a short section of what they had recorded up to that point.

That is some seriously good music JD.  The lyrics posit hope, with despair.  There were tears behind my eyes on the second hearing, that I then knew were there on the first.  Gerard Way has a fanTASTic voice.  It almost feels endless, like he could go forever and never reach the wall.  Well chosen, thanks for sharing that.  I plan to buy the CD, because the whole album is a story, according to Wikipedia, and I intend to feel the whole thing.  The band cites Queen as a strong influence on the album, as well as Pink Floyd's The Wall.  I can hear that.  But, they have struck their own vein.  Here's hoping they continue to mine it.

You know, sometimes new music feels like just so much noise, or venom.  This was neither.

SEAWOLF2:  SOON THERE WILL BE OTHER WAYS OF GETTING TO THE INTERNET.  DON'T GIVE UP TOO SOON.  PLUS, YOU CAN GO TO THE PUBLIC LIBRARY, AND USE COMPUTERS THERE.  BUT, I DON'T KNOW IF THEY WILL LET YOU STREAM MUSIC IN THE LIBRARY.  AS FAR AS TV IS CONCERNED, I ALSO RESENT WHAT IS HAPPENING IN THAT INDUSTRY.  I HAD SATELLITE FOR 4 YEARS, BUT I CUT IT OFF NOT TOO LONG AGO.  I DON'T MISS IT AT ALL.  YOU FIND MORE USEFUL THINGS TO DO WITH YOUR TIME, LIKE PRACTICE YOUR OWN TALENTS.

JIM THE DANDIEST:  I'M LOVING ALL THIS PHANTOM STUFF.  THAT CLIP GAVE ME CHILLS.  AND, LOVELY PIECE, AMAZING GRACE.  SHE HAS A HAUNTING VOICE, VERY FLEXIBLE.  THERE'S SOMETHING STRANGELY SPIRITUAL ABOUT THE AURORA BOREALIS.  i'VE NEVER SEEN IT, AND I MUST BEFORE I DIE.  *ADDS IT TO HER ITINERARY*

NIRVANA:  THANKS FOR POSTING THE JOSEPH BRUCHAC VIDEO.  HE HAS A LOT OF CHARISMA.  I WOULD LOVE TO EXPERIENCE HIM FACE TO FACE SOME TIME, AND WILL BE LOOKING FOR AN OPPORTUNITY TO DO THAT.

I WONDER IF ALL THE ABUSE STORIES ABOUT KENNY ROGERS ARE TRUE.  I FEAR THEY ARE, AND IT RUINED HIM FOR ME.  HE HAS A GREAT VOICE, THOUGH.  IT'S JUST THAT HE DOESN'T USE IT TO ITS BEST ADVANTAGE.

EVERYBODY:  GREAT STUFF TONIGHT.  I WAS WORKING FOR 12 HOURS TODAY, AND WHEN I SAW 30 NEW MESSAGES, I ABOUT FAINTED.  WHAT A PLEASANT SURPRISE, ALL THE NEW THINGS PUT OUT FOR THE PLEASURE OF OUR COMMUNITY.  Y'ALL ARE THE BEST!!!  AND THANKS FOR JOINING US THIS DAY, SEAWOLF.  WE HOPE YOU STICK AROUND, YOU SEEM TO HAVE A LOT TO OFFER.

I'M CERTAINLY NOT LOOKING FORWARD TO THE FULL SWING PUSH TO THE DIGITAL TV FORMAT EITHER! FOR ONE, I CANNOT AFFORD A DIGITAL TV
NOR CAN I AFFORD THE SPECIAL CONVERTOR BOX THE GOVT. IS GOING TO FORCE THOSE OF US STILL ON THE "OLD FASHIONED" TV'S TO BUY IN ORDER TO RECEIVE THE NEW "P-A-Y"
TV SIGNAL. IT'S CRIMINAL THAT THE GOVT. IS ALLOWING THE SATELLITE
AND CABLE COMPANIES TO STEAL OUR
FREE PUBLIC TELEVISION SIGNAL AND HOLD US OLD FOLKS HOSTAGE LIKE THIS!! THE ANALOG SIGNAL HAD BEEN
EARMARKED FOR "REMOVAL" THIS YEAR
BUT THERE ARE STILL TOO MANY OF US ANALOG TV USERS STILL NOT ON
SATELLITE OR CABLE TV SERVICE, SO THEY EXTENDED THE DATE TO 2008 OR
EARLY 2009. THE IDEA IS TO MAKE US ALL CONVERT TO THE DIGITAL SIGNAL AND MAKE US ALL PAY FOR TV SERVICE! THE REALITY THOUGH IS WE CANNOT ALL AFFORD TO PAY FOR TV!
MANY SENIORS LIKE MYSELF ARE ON FIXED INCOMES AND LIVE WELL BELOW
THE FEDERAL POVERTY LEVEL. IT IS GROSSLY UNFAIR TO PUT THE BURDEN OF PAYING FOR BASIC TELEVISION RECEPTION ON US FOR THE PROFIT OF THE GREEDY MEDIA INDUSTRY PUSHING
TO HIJACK THE ANALOG SIGNAL AIR WAVES THAT ARE PUBLIC DOMAIN AND
FREE FOR PUBLIC USE!! TECHNOLOGY
IS MERELY A CONVENIENT TOOL; HOW WE CHOOSE TO USE OR EXPLOIT IT IS WHAT MAKES IT A "GOOD" TOOL OR A "BAD" TOOL.... NEED I SAY MORE?!
