Skyking: can you invite endgame to this fellowship please. He's a lot of fun at this sort of thing. I don't know if you remember the Yoghurt Theatre? Stemmed from an out of date Yogurt, found in a refrigerator and now a congealed mess ( we won't go there just now!). Thanks.

'You will have to excuse me - I need more coffee!' he said, and went to the kitchen.

Fresh coffee in his mug, he returned to the lounge to find not one but several figures on the table, all with a bit of toast that they had divided between themselves. He would have to make some more. As he went back to the kitchen he vowed that he would never again buy butter from the new store he had got that from and never again would he mix his drinks!

As the lights flickered again, the figure said:'would you switch them off - I might melt from the heat.'

Mark got up from the table and turned all but one off.

Picking up one of Mark's pieces of toast, the buttery figure sat down on the table cloth and began to eat it.
'Raining, I see' it said.

'Umm. Good er morning' said Mark, cautiously.
'Yes, its raining again - we could use some dry weather.'
he thought about his evening before - he was sure he hadn't had THAT much to drink - just a couple. Perhaps he shouldn't have mixed his beer with brandy!

As he watched in disbelief he saw a small buttery figure walk along the blade and jump on to the table. Standing upright on 2 legs, the figure waved an arm at Mark. 'Good Morning' it said.

He had also read that he could expect something unusual around breakfast time.
As he ate the toast he had prepared for himself he became aware that the butter appeared to be moving...

He read the day before it would rain on his parade - the band he was playing with was due to play that afternoon and it was pouring with rain.

The following morning, although his head ached, Limtrot was anxious to be moving on, so they all headed off away from the waterfall, following what seemed to be a pathway created by the line of the castle wall.

But Pipin looked at the barely conscious Limtrot and said ' Would be best for him I think - this is a good spot, water, fish and wood for a fire. He is in no fit state to travel'
Commons sense prevailed and they set about making camp for the night.

As the Gark ran Jerky continued to hiss with rage and fly around the huge rocky head. Arms flapping to try to protect itself, the Gark didn't realise that Jerky was driving it towards the fast flowing water. Too late it saw the water at the last second as it stumbled and fell into the icy cold water. 'Argggggggggggggggghhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh' it screamed as it began thrashing about in the water, desparately trying to regain its footing. Slipping and stumbling against the fast flowing water, it was gradully sinking as it was swept towards a mysteriously dark area. As he follwed cautiously so he could see what happened, Pipin noticed the flow of water speeding up and the noise of the water became deafening. Suddenly Pipin realised that there was a waterfall just ahead. With a scream the Gark fell once more in the water and was swept away down the rushing water fall. Pipin heved a huge sigh of relief. 'Whew' he said to Jerky as the diaphanous form hovered just above him, protectively.

The Gark roared with rage. Unable to get Jerky it turned its atention to Lomtrot once again. Raising an enormous stoney fist he brought it down hard on Limtrot's head. Pipin stared in horror as Limtrot collapsed unconscious. The protective force field had been useless against this monster. Pipin could not see LORG, and hoped the Gark couldnt either.

Never having heard of these creatures, Limtrot drew his sword. Jerky hissed - sensing danger. Too late, though, with a hiss the Gark threw a vial at the dragon. Jerky screamed in agony and fear as he started to crumble in mid-air, helpless. Limtrot stared in horror as his dragon seemed to explode before his eyes. Pipin yelled at him : STOP - you can't possibly win against that creature. Drop your sword!'

Pipen remembered hearing of these creatures before, Garks, large and brutish, garks were half goblin half rock, thus being able to blend perfectly in with the castle walls.
Fighting these gigantic creatures usually ended in Death, as not only were they incredibly strong, but capable of deadly spells as well.

As Limtrot stared at the creature, he became aware that the wall seemed to come alive.
A huge creature, seemingly made from the rock itself, stood staring at him. Although roughly human-shaped, the creature was somewhat larger, towering above Limtrot as it did. Its eyes bore into him, but Limtrot wasn't entirely sure the creature was actually seeing him.

sorry Skyking - this needed more in-put to keep my interest. I'll have another go, though now we have a few more.

Ahead of them walked two warriors, each carrying a spear, the tips of which were blood-stained and were dressed in what looked like animal skins. Around their wastes hung huge knives, also blood-stained. Tall, each warrior had long black hair and bare feet. Behind Lorg and Limtrot were 2 more.

Suddenly - 'STOP - go no further!' a voice boomed .
Lorg looked around and saw no-one.
'I said STOP go no further!' boomed the voice.
Limtrot glanced around, but saw no-one.
Cautiously Lorg and Limtrot crept forward. Jerky hissed a warning, but too late to stop them tripping over an invisble line stretched across the pathway. As he struggled to his feet, Lorg felt something sharp in hs back, his arms were forced back and something tied his hnds so he could not move them. As he struggled against his captor he saw Limtrot similarly engaged. The dragon's jaws spat flames at the warriors who tried unsuccessfully to catch it. Then it vanished.
'walk' said one of the warriors, shoving him forwards.
Both men walked forwards towards the village.

The silence was eery as they walked on. The path seemed endless, but they could hear the distant sound of water.

Reaching the end of the tunnel, they stepped out into the light, blinking in the bright sunlight. Ahead of them was the well, its steep wals damp with moss clinging to the huge grey stones. 'well, well' said Limtrot. ' Perhaps we should try climbing up this.'
'well' echoed Lorg ' well, lets go then.' and to the troll ' 'climb'
The troll squealed in terror, 'no - no - you can't make me - Ive never been to the surface.' He boke frree from lorg's grasp and ran in the direction of another tunnel.
'Let 'im go' said Limtrot, ' he will only hold us up'
Slowly he began to climb upwards towards the top of the steep well. Lorg began to follow. Jerky flew up ahead, chirping happily. The tow men climbed steadily for some time.
'this well is higher than I remember it' said Lorg.
'are you sure its the same one? they all look the same to me!' Lmtrot asked.
Lorg had got confused at a turning in the tunnel buthe didnt like to say so. As they climbed further up the air got colder. The moss on the well wall made it slippery and hard to cling on to, but they persevered. Up and up they went. Up and up.
As they went upwards they came to a ledge. Thanful for a rest, they sat down for a few minutes. Jerky's eyes whirled red again. Limtrot fed it, sharing his jerk with the tiny creature. Lorg ate his own. After a while, they began to climb again, upwards towards the surface. IOt was some time before they reached it.
Exhausted, they climbed out. Ahead was a fast-flowing stream. 'Rest' said Lorg. 'Rest' said Limtrot. gathering bitsof wood, Lorg built a fire, whilst Limtrot began tickling for fish at the edgeof the stream. When he had caught 5 large trout, he joined Lorg at the fireplace. An hour later, Lorg Lintrot and Jerky were all fast asleep by the fire, worn out.

For a long time they just walked, pushing the troll ahead of them. Jerky held up things by constantly asking for food, but was rapidly growing stronger, and so able to fly close to Limtrot.

'What do I feed it with?' Limtrot was gazing in wonder at this amazing creature. Lorg cut off a piece of jerky. ' Here - give it this!'
Limtrot took the jerky and held it out to the dragon. The hungry creature snatched the food out of his hand, gulped it down then cried piteously. It was starving! Lorg gave Limtrot the rest of the jerky, which was subsequently cut up and fed to the famished animal. When it had finished it sat looking at Limtrot, eyes green now instead of the fiery red that was previously there. Limtrot cautiously stretched out a hand and touched it. He was surprised at the reaction: the dragon leaned against his hand making a chirping noise.
Lorg watched, fascinated. ' You have a friend for Life now,' he said. 'Some of the trolls have them, they train them to run errands apparently. '
Limtrot picked up the little dragon and cradled it in the crook of his arm. Sated by the jerky, it curled up and appeared to sleep.
Limtrot couldn't believe his luck. This tiny creature was his, now.
'I must think of a name,' he said. 'Any suggestions?'

The golden key still hung on the troll's belt. Now perhaps Limtrot could find out what was in the Black Box. He had been lead to believe these boxes were treasure boxes of some sort. Lorg grabbed the key. As the two of them struggled to open the Box, each was wondering what was in it. The Box glowed more as they turned the key. As the lid was raised, there was a flash of light and smoke. Startled, Limtrot dropped the box. As the smoke cleared a small white dragon appeared,no bigger than a squirrel, eyes swirling in its head, fire spouting from its jaws. Wings flapping and long tail lashing, it glared at Limtrot. Limtrot and Lord stared at the creature. 'Quick' said Lorg. 'Feed it! I've heard of these creatures, feed it and it is yours for Life!"
