as an aside...my suggestion would be that once you become a pawn, you are put on a temporary "listing" and if you do not pay your membership within 10 days you should be dropped from all ponds games/ratings.....any thoughts on this????

rabbitoid: yes I noticed that as well ;( where i used to have 20-25 games (ponds) going at once now it is flat out getting 10-15.....I think if you leave your numbers of entry open you might fare better...instead of 16/- or 16/16 make it say 12 or even 8....see what happens...JMO

this pool was one of the ones where I fell in because of the nearly 2 day down time of BrainKing

If things could be checked it would be seen that in all the pools I have played in, this one is the only one EVER with * besides the bet :(

If the loss of points had of been a couple I would not have worried, but 125 is a hell of a lot of ponds to try and make up :(

If I bet 1 instead of say 599...what difference is there ...I still cant bet 601...so any bet between 1 and 600 is my choice. I like to see who wastes their well earned points and bets just 601 LOL

when we sign up for a new pond can we please be transported to the main ponds page....it is annoying to arrive at a pond you have just signed up for when we could be easily transported to the MAIN ponds page? just a thought...not a necessity :)

I have had about OH DEAR...about 6-8 2nds? I think....but as Barb said below it isnt very often I finish out of the top 5....maybe that has something to do with it....Only Fencer can answer that :)

But example: wins = 10, 2nd = 8, 3rd = 6, 4th = 4 etc etc.

in 5 games you have 2 wins, 1 3rd, 2 misses. = 26(does sound better than mine.)
I have 3 3rds, 1 2nd, 1 4th. = 30.
now this is an example only going on my rates of being in top 5 finishing....

No it doesnt change with each game completed...well I dont think so....I have had 2-3 completed games today Im sure and my rating is the same as it was 9 hours ago :)
