Turkish Friendship Group- Turkish Checkers.
Unfortunately, there are 2 big differences between turkish checkers
rules in brainking site and real turkish checkers rules. We, Turkish
Checkers Lovers, have told the site management about this matter
several times, but there was no concrete step. The differences between
real Turkish Checkers and this site version are these:
1.
Real Rule: If the player has several ways to capture the rival pieces,
he must play the way that he can capture more pieces, even if this way
is played with a pawn against the other played with a king.
Site Rule: In this case, the player can play any way, he is free to select the way.

2.
Real Rule: If a pawn reaches the last row by capturing rival pieces and
there is another rival piece in the adjacent square, it continues
capturing the pieces as a pawn. But it becomes a king after the rival
move.
Site Rule: If a pawn reaches the last row by capturing rival
pieces and there is another rival piece in the adjacent square, it
cannot continue capturing.

Note:The second rule is encountered rarely in the game.

Because of these diffences, this site version is not Turkish Checkers.

The
aim in arranging this tournament is to make known real Turkish Checkers
Rules. If the tournament will be realized as we wish, we are thinking
to make this tournament periodically.

If you join this tournament and play the games under the ral rules, you will make us feel proud.

1. For the winner: 300 brains
2. For the runner up: 200 brains
3. For the third placed player: 100 brains
