If you have started a retirement on a stair, and you win the game that was still open, will you still move up a rung? I assume so, just wondering.

I have added the way to see if you have any current stairs in which you can challenge up above in the board header.

If you go to the main stairs page, and click on "Show your stairs only" - the ones in bold means there is someone there that you can challenge.

    Hi you guys!

If you are looking a good backgammon match, please send a challenge to me in slow cube stairs! I have no that type of match there just now.

One solution would be to put a red number in parentheses beside Stairs on the main menu, when there are stairs on your list available. Clicking the red number could take you directly to your personal list of stairs. The red number could disappear if it becomes unavailable.

    Just a thought..

O čem je toďten plk: Re: Very Fast Fischer Stairs
J5o: Have a look at these..

    Fast Stairs (Backgammon)
    Very Fast Fischer's Stairs (Backgammon)

You'll see that the Fischer's Stairs have risen more quickly. That's an indication of the turnover rate and that is partly the result of having only one game. And that helps the Stairs live up to its name of "Very fast".

At least that's what I assumed when Fencer first created these Very Fast Fischer Stairs. It's nice to see it working out, at least in Backgammon.

O čem je toďten plk: Re: Very Fast Fischer Stairs
J5o: Because many players complained that 1-game matches are too slow. Fischer Stairs are for very fast players who want to see the results as soon as possible.

Fencer: That wasnt the point.... its more like they (fischers games) should be the faster games, but because of the extra time added after a move, they tend to get longer limits than most of my other games.

are the names of stairs in which it's my turn to challenge somebody supposed to still be turning bold to let me know it's my turn to challenge somebody? because mine haven't been. i have to look through all my stairs every so often to see if i need to challenge anyone. it's really tedious...

i thought that turning-bold feature was brilliant, but it seems to be gone now.

    thanks. :)
