TexasToest: Scatterbrain is cool - I have their CD's somewhere in my closet. I can almost still hear the song "don't call me dude" in my head... think I might check out the link to refresh my mind a little more.
I use to listen to metal in my youth - today, i listen to just about everything, but mostly country.
Good stuff!! Thanks. I went through years of denying metal totally. Then, in November, my friend and I did 10 days in a car, and he has a killer stereo in the car. He had some metal with him, and at first when he put it on, I just groaned, to myself, of course. But, soon as he was singing along with it, I started hearing in the lyrics. As a matter of fact, I liked it so much, he sent me 3 albums of the same group. I don't think they are together anymore, but it was Scatterbrain. Fine LineDon't Call Me Dude

awesome: Damn I love The Cat,what a musical genius.Creativity can be so unpredictable. We caught years of special music, but now he's focused it in another direction.I guess we should just be grateful for the great music he gave us in that period. I lost my dad 5 years back, this song always brings a tear http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Jek6iP6AuAQ
Thank you, Jim the Dandiest. I needed that to defuse me. I'm voting for John Lennon. Of course, pictures of the Beatles as they progressed through MY years were nice, but his voice, and his passion really showed up in that clip. Have a GREAT Saturday.
Happy birthday to a couple of my favorites. She has not really enjoyed an easy time in this country, but I'm quite fond of Alanis. My favorite song of hers is You Learn. It's old, but I never get tired of it. I didn't like any of the videos on YouTube, though. But, I got to hear her sing it 3 times. You picked a good one, though, Nirvana.
1974, Alanis Morissette, singer, songwriter, (1996 US No.4 & UK No.11 single 'Ironic' from 'Jagged Little Pill' album which has sold more then 30 million copies, making it the best ever selling record by a female performer. Hands in my Pocket

awesome: I'm there man.I heard about it from a Rolling Stone article about 6 months ago.Apparently there are some legal issues originating from Bob Weir of The Dead.I guess Bob is a little short on cash these days It's a killer site
O čem je toďten plk: Re: wow- what I wouldn't give to go back and re-live 1971
awesome: I don't think so...the energizer-bunny man you see playing is the Late(I think?) Great Steve Marriott..
I think Frampton left before the Smoking Album (1970? 1971?) anyways, he blew it, he left before they really stuck gold.. But Framp did ok on his own too... I thought at first that was him to the right there in the video, but don't think so.....hard to tell under all that hair!
wow awesome and Nirvana...Mountain!!! What can I say but AWESOME!!!
And just to set things straight from the earlier convos about Los Lonely Boys..there are THREE of them..and they are all brothers..the Garza Brothers..Henry on lead guitar, Jojo on bass and .the one hiding behind the drum set is the third brother..his name is Ringo and named after..yes, you guessed it. He's not out front like the other two, but his voice belnds with them and gives them that awesome blend..you might not notice him there hiding behind the drums, but you would notice if he ws NOT back there singing too. Anyways, here's one of my favorite songs of there and brings him out from behind that drum set and shows his stuff a little. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tuKZ1i6YjJg&mode=related&search=

Jim Dandy: You can tease me with Ted Nugent any day. And, that's all I'm going to say, today. Caruso - be still my beating heart. Hey! There's one that's older than me!!!! Haha! Such a thrill to hear him on a recording that is of his vintage.
Nirvana: That was great! Talented boys, hey? Don't forget to watch the one with Carols Santana. There are a few drop outs in it, but it's still worth a look-see.
baddessi: Oh yeah! Thanks for the John Fogerty. As always he makes us smile, and tap our feet. That guitar really is a trip. I don't believe I've ever seen one quite like that. I wonder how you string it? I have stringing guitars on my mind these days, as you know. Hahaha!
Jim Dandy: Yeah, it's harder to get them out when they are dancing.. Just to clarify, one played fast pitch, one is a darn good dancer, and the other one (known on here as w0nder kitty) is our karate kid. She may look sweet and innocent, but she's a brown belt and NOT afraid to use the force! LOL
Was it Los Lonely Boys? Actually, baddessi was the first to post about them. I'd never heard of them, but now I have. You commented on them "I checked out Los Lonely <span>Boys, not bad.Kinda reminded me of Stevie Ray Vaughn's sound in the clip I watched",
TexasToest: Hey you! I forgot the name of that blues group you had posted here awhile back. They were brothers I think.I think "boys" was part of the name,I wanted to check out some more of their stuff
