The surgery went well and I am doing fine because of your thoughts and prayers! That laser surgery is amazing, only takes a few minutes and you come home with no restrictions..can't beat that! It was to correct glaucome so I was anxious to have it done. Now will get the other eye done on the 27th! The family in the accident have my sympathies as well. If they take the little girl to a big city hospital, they usually have housing for the family of a child patient very inexpensive and sometimes at no charge if they are unable to pay. They just need to ask at the hospital! They are trying to get him out of there now and sent to Germany where his family waits. I am hoping he will be sent to some of the good doctors there to remove the shrapnel! 13. ledna 2005, 05:29:43 I would like to ask prayers for my grandson in Iraq. He was slightly wounded about 2 weeks ago but is ok and back on duty. Some kind of grenade was thrown into his tent and he got shrapnel in his forearm..spent a few days in the field hospital. He only has 24 more days to serve in Iraq to have his year completed. I am praying for his safety and that they don't decide to extend his time there.
