Tuesday, it's fine to be fiction but he shouldn't take excerpts from someone else's book.
I am ready for that book anytime you are ready to send it. You still have my addy?
The Usurper:I enjoyed that book too. James Frey admitted that parts of the book were not true. They are saying the same thing now about The DeVinci Code. All that publicity just sells more books so let them keep on talking!
The Usurper:Isn't it rather hard to get interested at the start? I am reading One Thousand White Women at the moment. It's a fictional writing based on history. Am enjoying that one!
Hrqls:Sorry I haven't answered you before now. I would like to read this book but it's up to you to put it on the request list or make a tourney. Either way would be fine!!
O čem je toďten plk: Re: A Million Little Pieces by James Frey - Request List
ajtgirl:Since there are two names on the request list for that book, I will send mine to Tuesday and yours can go to Eriisa. I will have Blow Fly in the mail to you soon..hopefully tomorrow!!
Tuesday: Sure takes away from the popularity of his book. The book critics attacked James Fry for A Million Little Pieces too. I read that book and it's good no matter what!
O čem je toďten plk: Re: Blow Fly by Patricia Cornwell - Request List
ajtgirl:What isn't working on the request pages? They look fine for me so I don't know what is going on.
You are on the ball girl! I will be mailing Blow Fly to you very soon, am almost finished reading it. Amandalove had asked for it but discovered she has already read it.
Radiant Aunt:That's ok girl, anytime you are going to be home and want to put your name on a list, feel free. I think it is going to be great fun!!
I have already read Swan and mailed it to Eriisa. I did enjoy it. Now I am reading The Good Wife Strikes Back by Elizabeth Buchan. Then I have Blow Fly by Patricia Cornwell! Guess I am going to be reading a lot!!
Radiant Aunt:Yes, we are mailing real books..will write our ID# in it as we read one and pass it on to the next person on the list. I think there are 3 in line for that book now but we can always start another one going around. It isn't just a US bookclub, I want it to be for everyone to enjoy!
We have started a book exchange and right now we are discussing Swan by Frances Mayes which I have mailed to Eriisa and then it will go to the next in line...you will find a link to the list above.
We will discuss any books though. What are your preferences?
