I like to run road tar in mine, I like it STICK to the metal!!!
Na but I do run Mobil 1 full synthetic 10w-30 my car. 40k mines and after a quick wipe with a rag, you can eat off the valve covers. I spend most of my time over 5k rpms and have never had a problem (but then again it is a Toyota). I change my oil filter every 5k and the oil every 10k. I'm sold on synthetic!
Also according to Avon's website (whom I've never heard of before lol) they do sell in the US but not all there sizes/compounds. The ZZ3 is only england.
Stevie: I'm running into that same problem with my yokahama's. They grip like crazy (80mph off ramps are no problem) but I think the compound is too soft as they wear quick as heck.
what brand of weed eater do you have. Model # and engine number/size. I'll find you some directions as they are different by brand. For the most part what you are doing is adjusting the amount of fuel the engine is trying to burn.
Yep because most cars have a shifter interlock that only lets you shift out of park when you have the brake depressed. If you have a wiring problem, that could be a symptom.
bwildman: Stupid truck went back to the dealer again today, overheating again. Just got it back 2 days ago. They replaced the water pump and fan clutch. Same problem again.
bwildman: lol. The company I work for has 28 trucks. We have 2 full time techs. Every thing gets PM at least once a month. They bring truck 1 in, service it for a full day (oil change, lube [there's about 70 different grease fittings on the average wrecker], test all the fulids, and check over 100 different points. Then we have a guy that washes and waxes it. The next day truck 2 comes in and so on and so for. My truck gets washed at least 3 times a week. Every time I wash it, I check out just about everything that can be checked lol. That truck is how I make my money and if it breaks, it hits me in the pocket so I try to keep it in good shape. I keep the inside looking the best I can (not hard seeing as how I only get out of it to get coffee ). I love the self-loading wheel lift for what I do all night. Just the ford chassis needs some help.....
Well I got my truck back from the dealer yesterday. I got to tell you I've getting where I'm starting to hate Fords. My truck is an 05 F-450 with the 6.0 Powerstroke and it spends more time at the dealer than on the road.
3 trannys
2 water pumps
1 belt tensioner
2 drive belts
3 times A/C problems including the first day I had the thing
2 hold-off valves (wrecker body, not fords fault, but I'll put it in anyway)
3 sets of tires
misc other crap I could spend days posting.
Pedro Martínez: would not have made a difference, that car is front wheel drive and that may have helped alittle. I would have spun it sideways first to clear a path then gently pulled it out.
BIG BAD WOLF LOL As a tow truck driver, I can only point out the fact that I would have charged that guy around $100 to pull his car out damage free. His "buddy" just ripped his whole trunk off for free. Who would you call lol.
I'm still working on my project car. I've got a '69 Pontiac GTO that i'm restoring. Give me a few more months and the monster wil be reborn. I'm eyeing a 502 create motor for it....
