One day it just happened on me, in Firefox.. i had to uninstall FF then install the latest version.. even that didnt always work so I switched to seamonkey.. problem solved then.. Since then I have a completely new system and so far, knock on wood, my FF hasnt had that problem. BTW, I think that Nine Men's Morris would make a nice addition to BrainKing. It's an old game with proven playability, with simple rules (making it easier to program than say, chess), and it has several variants (with three, six and twelve men; Wikipedia even mentions variants with 5, 7 and 11 men). 25. Furthermore, rule adjustments are done mostly to games invented by BrainKing users. Konane is a game created a long time ago and there is no point to change its rules now, only because you don't like them. 25. In fact, you lose in Checkers itself as well if you cannot move. You also lose in Anti-Chess, Chinese Chess, Espionage, and Tablut if you have no legal move available. In the gammon variants, you pass. In Ataxx, a stalemate isn't always draw - a stalemate ends the game and the one with the most points wins. So what is causing it i am happy to try it and while i am here (morning by the way) is Hawaiian Checkers the only game in the world where the person winning loses if a player can not move.
