Argomento: Re: QUESTION ABOUT ESPIONAGE GAMES - NEED HELP PLEASE!
Hrqls: The visually impaired must use capital letters in order to see what they are writing more clearly. This is not rude, just a necessity. It's like a hearing impaired person speaking too loudly -- may take some getting used to, but a small price to pay for the benefit of including everyone in our conversations.
gambler104: Not quite true in backgammon, because of the luck factor. Still, a tournament winner would be "one of the best". Match length should be sufficiently long to reduce the effect of luck, say 15 or 21 points.
ellieoop: My interpretation is that the server will select the bonus at random and you must take what you are given. We are not told that all outcomes are equally likely.
Gabriel Almeida: Being in the international tax biz, I get newsletters daily, most of which include some reference to a national tax provision being held incompatible with one EU rule or another.
When I accept an invitation to a new game and the opponent has the first move, I am taken to a screen that shows the game board and a moves list showing "pass" for me -- but no button to click to submit a move or go to another game, except for a link to go to the next game of the same type. This seems to be new so I assume it was introduced accidentally in the new screens.
KotDB: I assumed that the bug would disappear this weekend, when the US would have gone on DST if the Congress had not lost its mind, and Europe also goes on DST (if I am not mistaken). For this reason I did not attempt to reset the time to GMT -7, since that would introduce a new error at the weekend.
I hope Fencer will not be burdened with the task of redefining GMT, which seems pretty well defined as it stands.
I wouldn't waste time trying to change the way the time displays for the remainder of this week. I just wanted to point out that, due to a change in US DST, whatever algorithms were in place to fix the time display were not displaying the time correctly.
As a further note, the US government is required to produce a report on whether the early switch to DST (and the late switch back to Standard Time) actually saves energy. If it does not, then we will revert to normal DST in the future.
I guess there is no automatic process for updating the user database to reflect PayPal renewals? I renewed yesterday but I am still getting that renewal message.
