Iamon lyme: Jules used to be a master designer of complicated mazes and after years of making master mazes for the masses he has trouble both walking a straight line and talking one too!
Maybe I'll takes a stab at the question just the same: "What is forbidden in all 3 Abraham based religions"
Artful Dodger: If the driver is pregnant then she can't be held responsible for the accident due to hormonal changes etc. The pregnant camel isn't to blame either as it's not the camel's fault that the driver is full of hormones. Therefore it's the fault of the other driver unless she too is pregnant. In that case it falls under the legal "No Fault" jurisprudence. If for some reason there isn't full clarity as to the no fault fault, then Bush is to blame.
Argomento: Re: Either way, you've strayed off the topic of Islam again.
(V): I'm not saying it. It's the explanation I learned about that particular saying. It describes a principle of reciprocity. The punnishment ought to fit the crime. Jesus then came along and radicalized it!
(V): as you know, Jesus corrected a lot of misunderstandings people had. That phrase first appeared in the Code of Hammurabi. In Jewish law it simply meant that adequate compensation should only be equal to the offense and no more (it was actually about limits.) It was not a literal statement.
Either way, you've strayed off the topic of Islam again.
It just amazes me that in political discussion I so often hear about the top earners not paying their fair share. But the facts seem to say something different: Of the Federal Income Tax Paid--
Top 1% paid 37% of the total Top 5% paid 59% of the total Top 10% paid 70% of the total And the Bottom 50% paid only 2.3%
Someone has to explain this fact in light of the claim that the top 1% don't pay their fair share. BTW, there are MANY who pay ZERO federal income taxes (and yes they work).
Argomento: Re: We're talking about whole populations that are hell bent on putting the world under the control of Islam.
Iamon lyme: For the very reasons you cited, I personally would never do it. But I think it was done because it could be done. Even knowing that it would tick off the savages in Islam. It's the same with the burning of the Koran. We don't refrain from burning the Koran just because some crazies will riot, rape, and murder. That has to be on them. Those that respond badly to something they don't like are responsible for their own behavior. The Bible is burned as is the flag. It's a speech thing. I think it's dumb but they have the right to do it. It's not enough to kill over( waterboard yes....I'd water board the film maker - but keep in mind that Bill Maher made an anti-religious film and in it he also attacked Islam. We didn't hear squat about that! AND that same Bill Maher gave Obama 1 million dollars! Where's the media???
Argomento: Re: We're talking about whole populations that are hell bent on putting the world under the control of Islam.
(V): You could say a lot of things except for the fact that we're talking about something specific: The Muslim riots in light of some silly film. BTW, that film has been on YouTube for months. Interesting that the uprisings started on 911. But then there is no connection. They just collectively decided on that day to rape a US Ambassador and murder him and then set fire to the compound.
These savages don't need an excuse to make war. That's part of their religion. The sooner people recognize it the better.
Argomento: Re: hey don't do that in the USA because they wouldn't get away with it. But elsewhere in the world, they will hack off your head for little reason.
(V): There is no exaggeration here. And we're not talking about death penalties nor are we talking about an isolated religious nut killing an abortionist. We're talking about whole populations that are hell bent on putting the world under the control of Islam. And they are making progress. In your country there is a huge problem with militant Islamist extremists.
Argomento: Re: Only with Muslims do you get that kind of response for some silly poorly done film.
Bwild: The crusades were an entirely different thing. A sad part of the history of Christianity to be sure. But it's not the same thing. Christianity doesn't teach the things that went on in the crusades. But Islam does teach the things that goes on in Islam. AND it's happening now. You have some isolated nuts in Christianity but in Islam you have whole populations that have world domination as their goal.
Wilders: Islam is an ideology aiming for world domination rather than a religion. It demands that the state be regulated according to Islamic law. As a consequence, it wants to rule over all other religions, ideologies and political visions. Islam is based on the Koran, which according to the Islamic faith is a book written by Allah himself. Hence, it leaves no room for interpretation. The Koran commands Muslims to conquer the world, if necessary through violence. There is no freedom in Islam. Because of its global aims, it is a threat to freedom everywhere.
Argomento: Re: Only with Muslims do you get that kind of response for some silly poorly done film.
(V): Muslims have respect? They don't do that in the USA because they wouldn't get away with it. But elsewhere in the world, they will hack off your head for little reason. And attacks on Christians are an everyday occurrence. The film was a bad idea and disrespectful. But it in no way warrants such a savage reaction. Christians would not react in such a way. And then there is this:
6/3/2012 Nigeria Bauchi 21 45 A Holy Warrior runs his car into a church service and detonates, taking out over twenty praying Christians. The responsible group later thanks Allah for the victory.
10/1/2001 Indonesia Tomata 3 0 Terrorists attack a Christian church, killing three women.
3/18/2012 Nigeria Suleja 0 5 A church is firebombed during a service.
3/15/2012 Nigeria Nayi 10 4 A pastor is among ten people hacked and shot to death when armed Muslims raid Christian homes around a church.
1/6/2012 Nigeria Adamawa 12 4 Islamists chanting 'Allah Akbar' barge into a church and massacre a dozen worshipers
The Christian world didn't go about killing Jews and burning embassies over this short. So why should we give a crap about offending a bunch of 16th century nuts? Oh yeah, cuz they kill people when they get pissed. I get it. Give in to the terrorists. That's a great idea and sounds so manly!
In an "art" museum there is a cross in a bottle of urine. It's allowed because of free speech. Sure there are complaints and protests, but no mass killings, rapes, and mob violence. Only with Muslims do you get that kind of response for some silly poorly done film. The guy looked more like an American Jesus than he did an Eastern Muslim male. Those crazies don't need a real reason to rape and kill. They will use anything.
Our response must not be soft and fluffy. I don't care that they get offended. That's no reason for mob violence and we ought NOT to apologize to those who are our sworn enemies.
Since when does America or Canada or Europe coddle to terrorist scum?
The Muslims rape and murder and the left blames some guy with a camera. I blame the rapists and the murderers.
It's like blaming the bank for the robbers taking their money. (because they had all that money in the bank!)
Iamon lyme: have you heard of the second law of thermal underwear? It used to be Weight=Warmth. But that's no longer true. Arctic fabric technology is lightweight fabric and surpasses thermal undies for heat capture. Another theory debunked.
Argomento: Re: But to be clear, the God of the universe is not the god of Islam. Islam's god is Satan. Sad but it's true.
(V): well that's more new age of ya. I feel better now. Now god is a cow fart. The material world is not God but yes God created it all. It is not god however. As you said, God just is. He is infinite with no beginning. Material can be traced to a beginning. And then there's that 2nd Law of Thermodynamics . It cuts short the infinite by an infinite.
(V): What??? Crap!!! YOu just made sense! What's up with that??? But you're right and I agree. The finite describing the infinite. It's not possible. How can we describe that which we cannot fully comprehend? It's better that way. I would hate for God to be limited to my puny understanding of HIM.
