if you have won a round of the tournament then you can either choose a pawn yourself and tell either linda or fencer.. or if you don't know of anyone, then ask a few people if they do :) there is always someone who knows a pawn who would like a membership :)
Argomento: Re: 2 FREE 6 MONTH ROOK MEMBERSHIPS Under 3 weeks to go !!!!
Oooh, that is soooo *not fair*! I just found this awesome site a few days ago... which means I can't sign up for this. Ah, well. Guess you have to draw the line somewhere. lol
That would be nice Fencer - but then again, the problem I see with that is that probable once a month you will get the question "Hey, I had a tournament in the list which is now gone, and not started yet!" - which of course would be the case until the tournament auto-start is ran.
I have found that the tournaments auto-starter runs about every 1-2 hours, which will start any tournament which is past it's start time.
BUT - what you probable notice is my "Fast Start" tournament, which when they have enough people to start, what I do is just change the start date of the tournament ahead 1 day so they start faster - so they will start the next time the "Auto-Start" runs, and not have to sit there full waiting for the time to run out.
Cassius, I think he said yesterday that if the server is close to overload etc, the script that starts the tournies, will not start until a suitable time
Sometimes I see in the tournementarea some tournements with a (red) minus time. I thought the tournements are starting now automatically if the deadline is reached. How is this possible?
And to keep it on topic, I thought LongJohns post was funny too! I doubt eagleeagle took it too seriously. If he/she did, then please send me $50 too! (LOL I'm kidding!!)

I checked out your tourney and you definately are done there :)
1. send fencer a message and have him remove you
2. send me $50 USD for this reply
3. Join new tournament of your choice
4. win prize tourney
5. Give me $50 more buckaroonies
that post should be deleted
giving that advice to a pawn is fraudulent.
He/She asked a legitimate question :(
Monkey....delete it and mine if you wish but that is out of taste :(
Kevin... The 'relative skill' is the SAME as who is better!
Ihave said beforwe that you are an intelligent young man. (maybe too smart for your own good) You sometime come across like a computer when you write, thats what I meant by 'robot like'. There is nothing wrong with it at all, except that you said the same thing I did, only with different words.
What do you mean by "deliberately play slow"? Sure I could spend 16 hours a day on here and never have a move wait longer than a few hours between my visits to this site. But I can't see that happening. If you mean that I purposely play slower than I have to just to make people wait, that isn't the case. I am not going to start the discussion re: why I play the speed I play again - you can read all about it on the Brainking.com board.
