Human beings consist of 10^14 selfish cells that only care for their own replication.
So how would you expect a human not to be selfish and be able to accept others different opinions, from their own?

Also don't forget that our DNA carries many common elements from our "wild-acting" animals. Our behaviour in general of course is not like hyenas, but sometimes............
