Do you miss something on BrainKing.com and would you like to see it here? Post your request into this board! If there is a more specific board for the request, (i.e. game rule changes etc) then it should be posted and discussed on that specific board.
The game would be even better when a rule would be added: repeating the same position 3 times is a loss for white. This has been discussed before on the Tablut board, but I think it's time for an official feature request!
The possibility to create more than 1 team per game in the fellowships, so we could create several teams and play internal team matches.
Especially in the one-game-fellowships this would be nice.
When you do a search in posts, you can afterward click on "show context" of a particular post.
I think it would be good when a "show context" link is added also when you click "show this user posts".
mctrivia: Now I understand you. I even agree with you on several points:
I agree that it could be done far worse (like on IYT).
We probably agree on the goal: the maintenance of Brainking.
Lastly, I also agree we disagree about the rightful means for this goal.
رضا: If I need a product I can look for it myself.
"The purchasers will get the most out of their money" at the expense of commercial manipulation of others. Not having a choice equals forcing someone to look at filth. My sympathy is not with the polluters: they are sickening the streets, the television, the radio, internet etc.
People can 'buy' advertisements, but who is sold?
Will there be also an option to make invisible the new advertisements? Besides the great diversity of games and the userfriendly interface, I also like Brainking for the lack of advertisements. Nothing wrong with the current galery, but I'd hate to see products advertised there...
Hope there will be the same option as for "google banners": to turn them off.
...and what are "warez"? Stated between porn and terror, it sounds fascinating!

When I learned to play Go, this interactive tutorial was very useful for learning the rules and first basics.

Fencer: Although I personally don't like checker-games so much, it does seem like a nice game. It reminds me a bit of 'Frisian draughts'.
I have to look at it some more, play it with friends etc. It's amazing how many good games Christian Freeling has invented! I'm impressed.

Here is a good connection game, from the inventor of Grand Chess:
Havannah It has very simple rules (so even backgammonplayers could play it ) and great depth. It feels a bit like 'GO' but with the advantage it has fewer moves, simpler rules and no 'counting dead groups'-problem.
If there is going to be a connection game, I think this one would be a very good choice.
You can try the game yourself by copying the board and 'floodfill' with black and white in your paint program (that's how I play the game with Mirjam).

Let's move to the shogi board.
