Artful Dodger: I did know you know.. Thankfully the McCarthy paranoia that the US gov did back for a while has long gone. That degree of persecution in the USA over being "..a leftie...", "...socialist.."...or a "..lib.." died thanks to McCarthy's rabid OTT fanaticism.

fyi... The communist party was made out to a loony left group here by the establishment... but in the end, most in the UK worked out it was propagandist talk. Nukes didn't care what party you belonged to.
